"It has some long ass Greek name but dad translated it to. Shifting Wolf?" Sam slightly frowns at the name.
"Shifting Wolf?" Sam asked hearing Dean shift around slightly.
"Look I don't know man? Dad wrote it, I read it." Dean states clearly confused as much as Sam at the name.
"How do we kill it?" The ruffling of pages could be heard and Dean's soft muttering as he read through entries about this creature.
"It's a lot like a werewolf, so basically we need to pump it full of silver then burn the bitch."
"Sounds easy enough." Sam muttered.
"Well Sammy boy it's not. From what I'm reading one of dad's friends killed one a while back. Turns out they didn't have a way to identify the monster at all. The only way to make sure you're killing the right person or thing is to wait for it to shift into a werewolf like form." Dean spoke flipping a page before continuing.
"The Shifting Wolf is know to be half Shifter and Half werewolf giving it the name Shifting Wolf." Dean read before stopping.
"So you can say it's a real mutt Sam." Dean jokes only getting silence on the other end.

"So how is it with the mutt?" Dean asked referring to Millie making Sam slightly mad.
"Well for starters it's Millie and not mutt."
"Ohh wow did you sleep with her yet." Dean's unamused voice interrupted Sam making the taller Winchester roll his eyes.
"No I haven't, and every time I'm gone someone gets injured or killed. Now I don't know if it's her or not but there's claw marks on the window sill and the brick below it." Sam spoke earning silence from the other end.
"So how about we just gank the bitch and get our asses out of Dodge."
"Dean what if we're getting played or something. What if the thing is setting us up. Making us believe it's her or something." Sam tried to reason genuinely thinking that the creature is not Millie.
"The only one getting played Sam is you. Do you not learn from all the other times this had happed. Hell you manages to set a literal apocalypse into swing because you couldn't keep it in your pants." Sam opened his mouth to respond but shut it quickly not wanting to escalate this any further then what it is.
"Sam?" A soft voice called from somewhere behind him making Sam turn in the direction of Millie's room.
"Dean I gotta go." Sam spoke interrupting his brothers little speech by hanging up before he could even start.

Sam makes his way to Millie's room and slowly opens the door. There on her bed sat Millie the blanket bunched up around her waist as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Sam blushes slightly finding the scene in front of him rather cute. The phone on her bedside table rang making Millie lazily reach phone for it. Checking the caller ID Millie's eyes widen as fear and anger fills them before practically throwing her phone across the room. Sam catches it though taking a quick glance at the screen he read the bitch. A look of confusion graced his face as he looks up at Millie only to see her under her blanket as if hiding from something. Concern filled his eyes as he sets the phone down on the dresser by the door.
"Millie?" Sam's voice was soft and laced with concern, seeing the women tense under the blanket made his even more worried. He was half way across the room when the phone went to voice mail and a almost non human voice filled the air.
"Pick up the damn phone Millie, I know you're there. Probably shaking like a leaf." The sickening voice startles Sam making his snap his gaze to the phone laying on the dresser.
"I heard about all the people dying in that her apartment of yours, it's your fault you know. Haha your so pathetic just like your father. Hopefully your join him soon, I'm getting tired of hearing this damn voicemail."

With that the message ended making Sam turn back to Millie who was visibly shaking under the blanket. Sam walked towards her his soft footsteps barely audible to the female under the blanket.
"Millie?" Sam spoke softly as he sees her curl up into a smaller ball.
"Hey." He spoke again taking a seat at the end of the bed. The sudden weight made Millie jump slightly, the state she was in made her even more jumpy them normal. Sam raises his hand out to her but hesitates slightly thinking about how she jumped when he simply sat next to her.
"Who was that Millie?" Sam asked softly not wanting to put her through anymore stress. Millie seemed to relax slightly at his tone making Sam smile in return.
"You know what she said isn't true right?" Sam asked watching as Millie shifts around under the blanket.
"But it is." Her voice was horse from crying as she sniffed making Sam's heart ache.
"It's all my fault I couldn't stop it I... I can't control it either as much as I wish I could. I tried to get the people to leave but a lot of them didn't. I'm useless maybe She's right I should just hurry up the process and join my father." She continued making Sam worried.
"Your father is-"
"He's dead." Millie spoke sharply cutting Sam off making him run a hand over his face.
"Millie." Sam sighs running a hand through his hair. "Your not useless, okay. You got some people out of the apartment, you practically saved Wendy's life." Sam spoke watching as the women beside him shifts slightly.
"I did?" Her small voice asked making Sam smile lightly.
"Yes when my friend and I were out we saw a man running down the street after he told us when happened my friend drove him to the hospital. About an hour later my friend called saying that she was stable. She'll live because of you Millie." Sam explained before being tackled on the bed.

Sam started to freak out slightly but his body soon relaxed when he saw who it was that tackled him. Millie practically laid on top of him her face buried in his flannel shirt and her arms around midsection. Sam blushes slightly as he looked down at her seeing her face tinted red slightly but Sam shrugged it off. His mind telling him it was because she was crying and that it wasn't blush. Sighing he wrapped one arm around the smaller being on top of him making sure she didn't fall while placing the other behind his head.
"Millie?" He asked hearing her hum in response.
"Who was that. The women who called you?" Feeling Millie tense up Sam began to worry thinking he said something wrong.
"She was my mother." Millie spoke plainly the word mother leaving a bad taste in her mouth. Feeling Sam's arm tighten around her though Millie felt safe for the first time in years.
