Ashlynn's P.O.V
Trying to forget someone you love is like trying to remember someone you never met. That is how I feel about max. It's been a week since we've seen each other. And I miss him like crazy. I've been living with Ember ever since then. But tonight I'm going to find max. I'm going to find him and tell him the truth.

Max's P.O.V
How come I can't go back and see her. Just one more time. Maybe I'll go see her tonight. Or maybe I should just stay here on the rock by the waterfall we went to. Maybe I should just give up on her and stay like this forever. But she's the only one that can fix my broken heart. I can't give up on her. I can't.

2 hours later (8:00)
Ashlynn's P.O.V
"I'm going to go for a walk!"
"Ok! I wish I could go with you but I have all this homework."
"Ya, I wish you could come to." I walked out the door and started running down the street. Where would max be? Maybe he's in the forest by ember's house. Wait I know exactly where he is. He's by the waterfall. Except I don't know where it is. I kept walking when I saw a sign saying "to the falls" I picked up my speed and ran down the dirt path.

Max's P.O.V
I heard footsteps running down the hill. I quickly got up and hid. it was Ashlynn. She stopped.
"Max!" She yelled. "Grr. I thought he was here!" She started crying ran back up the path. How did she know I was here? And why didn't I go out and see her? I walked up the dirt road. When I feel I hand pull me back and punch me.
"What the hell?!?"
"She's mine!" Another punch came to me. I'm so weak in human form.
"Why are you doing this?"
"I told you she's mine." A punch hit me in the stomach. I started coughing up blood. I'm too weak to fight back now or change into the slender man form.
"Who's yours?" I said.
"Ashlynn."

Ashlynn's P.O.V
I ran home crying. he doesn't like me. Wouldn't he come and see me by now? I sat down on my bed. well... embers bed. I wiped the tears while ember rubbed my back. "You still have Jason. I know you've always had a crush on him since well forever."
Jason and I have known each other since kindergarten.
"I know. But I don't know which one I like more. Jason or Max."
"That's going to be a hard one. But don't worry I'll always be there for you."
"Thank you Ember," I said hugging her.
"Anytime."
