She won't love me anymore. No one can understand the slender man. It just comes out as muffled words. Like some type of alien. I sat on a rock wondering if she knew where I was or who I was.

Ashlynn's P.O.V

Still sitting there in the middle of the road. Cars rarely come down here. It's a dead end here it only leads to the waterfall. and nobody goes down there for some odd reason...

"Stand up," Jason said.

I just looked at him.

"Stand up." He said getting annoyed.

I rushed to stand up.

He stepped closer to me and put his hands on my arms he leaned in and he hugged me. I felt his warm breath go down my neck.

"I love you, Ashlynn. I want you to be protected, so I'm letting you go." He backed up and grabbed his gun. "I just want you to be happy."

"No. Jason don't do it."

He loaded his gun and put it to his head. "I'm sorry." And he pulled the trigger.

"JASON! Oh my god. No. no no no no no no no no. Please no." I fell to my knees, holding his head up and bawling my eyes out. I set him down and dialled 911. I don't care if he shot Max or beat up his sister right now. He's gone. I've known him all my life.

I wiped a tear as the ambulance drove away. I ran to the waterfall and collapsed on the sand.

"Ashlynn?" I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at the hand. It was the longest fingered hand I have ever seen. It was black and pointy. I looked up, it was the slender man. I stood up and hugged him.

"Jason's dead. Maxy. He's gone."

"I'm sorry... He shot me." He hugged me back.

"Wha-Why are you in your slender man form?" I asked still sobbing.

"I'm stuck like this. Forever." I didn't want to ask why.

"Wait you can hear me?"

"Yeah."

"That's odd..."

I sat down and Max plopped down beside me.

"Have you tried turning back to your human form?" I asked.

"Yeah." He sighed.

"It's okay. Are you still forced to kill people?"

"Yeah."

"Oh-"

I could tell from her eyes she was scared. It was hard not to attack. So I sat there holding the urge to kill her. I asked her the question that's been bothering me since the guy in the washroom cursed me again,

"Do you still love me?"
