Sydney's POV
"What's wrong?" I asked, looking behind me.
"My sibling-" Janae started, getting cut off by screaming and banging... again.
"HELP US JANAE! HELP US! LET US IN! PLEASE!" Ellie, Janae's younger sister, yelled from the other side of our brown front door.
Janae ran up to the door, almost tripping in the process, and letting in her younger sister and brother.
"Are you bitten?" Janae asked worriedly.
"No, but-" Ellie got cut off by a question being asked.
"B-Bitten?" Blake, Janae's younger brother, stuttered.
"Yes, bitten," I said looking at Janae.
"I'll check you," I said walking over to Ellie and Blake.
"Give me your hand," I said taking Ellie's arm in my grip.
Janae's POV
"She's cleared," Sydney said dropping her arm and moving on to Blake. Blake lifted his arm and I saw blood coming from his wrist.
"O-oh my God, Janae..." Sydney cried out. I dropped to my knees and sobbed. Sydney turned around and saw me on the ground, with my head in my hands, sobbing.
"Is... is he... bitten...?" I spoke in between sobs.
"I... don't know," Sydney spoke.
"It could've been a dog," Arabella pointed out, coming out of the garage.
"Yeah," Sydney said, sadly.
"Am," Blake paused for second, wiping a tear away, saddened to see his older sister cry. "Am I going to die?" Blake finished, making me sob harder.
"Hopefully not," Sydney said looking at him with a sad smile across her face.
