Clementine's POV
Sydney and Janae ran up to this girl who was crying.
"Lee. Is that girl okay?" I asked, realizing worry lacing the words that escaped my lips.
"I-I don't know, sweet pea," Lee reassured me. I sighed and continued to talk to Lee before I saw that they were coming back. I ran off to ask who was with them.
Daniella's POV
A little girl ran up to us who looked to be about 7 or 8. She waved to us and we waved back.
"Hi, Sydney! Hi Janae!" She said, smiling. Gosh, she is so innocent. "Who's this?" She asked pointing to me.
"This is Daniella. Dani for short," Sydney gestured to me.
"Are you okay? Why were you crying over there?" She asked, pointing to were I was when I first saw Sydney and Janae. God, I missed them so much.
"Oh, I'm okay. I just thought I would never see them again. Thanks for asking...?" I said smiling.
"Clementine," Clementine answered.
"Thanks for asking, Clementine."
"Come on. I want to introduce you to the rest of the group," Janae said, gesturing to the rest of the group.
"Okay, come on then," I said smiling once more.
"Everyone. This is Daniella. Dani for short," Sydney said loudly, but only loud enough for our group to hear.
"Hi, Dani. I'm Christa and this is," Christa said gesturing to someone next to her. There was silence for a few seconds before Christa spoke up again.
"Omid, if I gesture to you, that means I want you to say something. Right now, I wanted you to say your name," Christa said in a motherly way to-, wait, ew. They seem to be dating. That's gross, Dani! I thought to myself. I, mentally, shook my head, getting rid of my thoughts.
"Sorry, I'm Omid, by the way," Omid chuckled. We moved on to a man talking to another man.
"Hi, I'm Chuck," Chuck looked he was homeless before all of this. It doesn't matter anyway.
"And I'm Kenny," Kenny looked said, based on a look in his eyes. We moved on, again, to that little girl from earlier talking to a man she could be related to.
"I'm Lee. This is-" I cut him off.
"Clementine. We met earlier," I said looking down and smiling at her.
"Are you two related?" I asked, a little hesitant.
"No. That's why we are here. We are looking for Clem's parents," Lee answered.
Sydney's POV
"Okay, let's head out," I ordered.
30 minutes later
"We're here," I said gesturing to a house.
"Sydney! Janae! Where were you?" Kate yelled.
"Who are they?" Arabella asked.
"Kenny, Lee, Clementine, Chuck, Christa, Omid, and Dani," I answered while gesturing to each person as I said their name.
"Come in," My mother said.
"We don't know them," Kate pointed out.
"Sydney does," My mom pointed out, looking away from Kate to smile at me.
