Sydney's POV
"I heard what you said," Janae whispered to me.
"Shhh!" I motioned with my finger to my lips.
"Okay! Okay. I won't tell," Janae chuckled.
"God, I hate you," I glared.
"Love you too!" Janae sarcastically said with a toothy grin.
I rolled my eyes and Janae laughed.
"We have to turn around," Rebecca blurted out.
"I'll text Kate," I said taking out my phone and powered it on.
Sydney and Kate's text conversation:
Sydney - We have to turn around.
Kate - Okay, I'll tell Mom.
S - Okay.
K - Where do we go after we turn back?
S - The woods behind our house.
K - Alright, give me a sec.
S - We'll meet in the woods and dad will explain the plan.
K - Okay.
We turned back. We rushed out of the car and went to the woods. Soon after that, we meet up with the rest of my family. Then, we discuss our plan. God, I hope we all live in this broken beauty of a world.
