Kate's POV
We go out and kill the walkers near my truck.
"Okay let's go back!" I yell. We run in and see everyone ready.
"Okay, Arabella, Sydney, Janae, Ellie, and Blake will go in the truck. Kaya, Rebecca, Kate, Xavier, and I will go in the jeep. Understood?" My dad ordered.
Soon, everyone was in the cars he assigned them to be in. I ran after Janae through the door.
Sydney's POV
I just realized something, I forgot my phone! I run upstairs, grab my phone, a portable charger and some pictures of my family and friends.
"Sydney! Let's go!" I hear Kate run in and yell, then quickly running out.
"Coming!" I yell back. I grab an extra knife from the kitchen and head for the truck. My mom had her phone and I texted her telling her that we were leaving. We headed for the highway. It was packed, screaming everywhere. Woman, men, children all screaming as they were being ripped apart by those monsters. Families were being ripped apart in minutes.
"NOOOO!" A woman cried over the dead body of a child. A man came up to her and stabbed her in the head.
"Douchebag," I mutter. I thought I was the only one that heard me, but apparently, Arabella heard me too.
"What was that?" Arabella asked, interrupting my thoughts.
"Huh? Nothing," I muttered.
How are we going to survive this with people like that in the world?
