Chapter 23

Tris POV

This whole situation was so frustrating that I went into my room and just fell asleep. I was having this weird dream about a man and a consulting detective it was the weirdest thing. Maybe I do watch too much television. I woke up to my alarm. I looked around no Tobias to be found. Maybe he didn't want to wake me. I heard giggling coming from downstairs. I knew it was a girl and I was determined to find out who it was. I crept down the stairs and I saw some girl I didn't even know. I quietly ran up the stairs and came down so that he knew I was coming and I could pretend I didn't hear them. I yawned and said "Morning To-" I stopped in mid sentence to make it seem like I was caught off guard. The girl looked surprised.

"Hey Four um mind explaining?" She said and I said "Oh yes please enlighten us." Then Four started to explain. "Okay Tris this is Bell, my friend,Bell this is Tris, my girlfriend." We both cooled down after that. "Okay. Sorry about earlier." I said to her and she replied "It okay really." We both were standing there chatting while making Tobias feel uncomfortable. We kept laughing at him and he gave us "the stare" we started laughing even harder because it was really bad.

This girl and I got along better than Christina and I. Speaking of Christina I haven't seen her or the gang in a while. I decided to call her. She picked up right away "Is it true?!" she sounded panicked "Is what true?" I replied "Did you kill him?" She whispered the last part. "I can't talk about this right now come over please." The Bell gave me look "What?" I asked she looked suspicious. "Is there something going on that I don't know about?" She asked and I nodded but refused to tell her until Christina came over.

Tobias was in the other room watching sports I forgot to tell him about Chris because he ended up opening the door and she nearly had a heart attack. "Am I seeing ghosts?" She asked herself and I said "No. Not at all."
