Chapter 21!

Tris POV

When I got home Tobias was sitting on the couch just smiling. "What got you in such a happy mood?" I said and turned to me and smiled even more. "You." I blushed and turned a red tomato. "Really?" He walked up to me and looked me in the eye and said "Really." Then I heard 'awws' in the background and I said "Do you guys mind?" and  my mother said "No, no just pretend we are not even here." I sigh. "You ruined a perfectly good moment." My father seemed happy "It's always a pleasure." I smile and say "Oh shush." Tobias looks at me and give him a 'What?' look and he just shakes his head while smiling.

We all sat down for dinner and I realized that Caleb was missing. Then I hear my phone ringing "I'll be right back." I pick up the phone and I hear Caleb say something, I can't understand it so I say "What?" Then he says "I need you to stall until I can get home." I knew something was up he didn't really do this. "Why do you need me to stall?" I asked I heard him sigh and said "I'm bringing someone home for dinner." This was one of my girly moments when my side I don't like to exist survives and comes out of hiding and says "Aww. Does Caleb have a girlfriend?" He doesn't say anything so I knew I was right. "Awww. I'm right aren't I?"  I hear him nod. "I knew it! It's that Susan girl isn't?" He finally says something "Yes." A smile creeps across my face. "Okay I'll cover for you, but you owe me one." I hung up and headed back to the dinner table and Tobias whispers "So Caleb has a girlfriend." I give him a look and then face palm my face "I wasn't that loud was I?" I ask and he nods. "Great. Well just act cool okay guys." Then Tobias gets a cocky grin on his face and says "Don't I always sunshine?" I hit him in the arm again for the second time today. "Seriously! Come on!" I laughed and then I heard the door open. I saw Caleb and someone was behind him. My mouth hung open. That's not a girl.

My parents did not seem happy, but I was completely fine with it. I didn't mind it because  he seemed happy so I didn't mind but my mom especially did. "Caleb we thought you were bring Susan home!" Great now she was mad. Poor Caleb. Well at least I have a sister now. They were arguing and the boy who was initially behind Caleb was standing next to Tobias and I. "Hey. I'm David." I shook his hand and said "Don't worry this always ends up happening somehow. My mom is a little crazy." He nodded and we all just stood there until I heard "Why can't you be like your sister and have someone you love as the opposite sex!" Then I threw my hands up and said "Hey don't drag us into it." My father was trying to calm her down. TRYING.
