Chapter 5

Tris POV

After I got home I had a little dance party with myself. I deserved it, it was one of the best nights ever.

I wake to the voice of my brother Caleb. Plus my alarm clock so yeah I knew I was getting a headache. I had to pry myself out of bed. The events of last night kept replaying in my mind. I loved every bit of it. I threw something on and headed off to school. I met by Zeke and Uriah. "So can't wait to see Four in that diaper!" Uriah said and I laughed and I had to break the news to him. "Aww no diaper boy? Man!" then Zeke said "That was going to be the highlight of his week." I laugh then Uriah says "Shut up." and turns away.

Then as we are walking into the school I am bombarded by Christina, Shauna, and Marlene. "So...How did it go?" Christina asks happily. Then Uriah and Zeke look at me funny. "How did what go?" before I even get a chance to say anything Christina says "Her date with Four! Duh! Come on guys you weren't that clueless were you?" All I see is both of them looked kind of shocked. "Anyway so are you going to tell us how it went or not!" Marlene says. "Well...." I say and kind of awkwardly walk/run away and head towards my locker. That is when the bell rang I grabbed my book for AP Math and ran to the class once I got there I walked in and I sat down next to an empty chair and I feel someone sit next to me. I am hoping it is Tobias, but sadly it's Eric. Ugh. "Hey Tris." he gives me a smirk and I turn my head the other way.

Tobias walks in late and is questioned and is told he has to stay for lunch detention. Then when he looks at me and I blush, I guess Eric must have saw me and he says, "What does have that I don't." I am about to tell him off but the teacher gives me a glare that said 'if you say something I am going to freaking kill you.' I kind of put my hands up like 'okay okay geez calm yourself.' Then she goes back to teaching. I kind of zone out after that. That is until heard the bell and had a small heart attack.     

I start to head to Creative writing/ English, when Tobias walks up to me and says "Mind if I walk with you?" I shake my head. Then I hear someone coming up next to me on my other side. Eric again. God what is his problem can't realize I am not going back into the past but staying in the present. "Seriously what does he have that I don't." Then I turn towards him. "How about me." I say and just keep walking but he just doesn't stop. "What do you want from me Eric?!" I stop and he smirks. I should not have said that. He leans in and I slap him across the face HARD. It felt good. "What the hell was that for?!" he said rubbing his cheek. "Don't play dumbass I know what you planning on doing!" I walk into the class and say sorry for being late. Lunch detention great.....   

When It was time for music we were having an open mic. To my surprise Tobias got everyone in the band but me and went up. When the music began  I realized it was 'When can I see you again?' by Owl City.

When they got off the stage I felt a smile creep on my face. He gave me a quick smile and we both blushed. We both know that the song was meant for me...at least I think it was anyway, it sure seemed like it. Then Tori said that there was time for one more song and I raised my hand. I saw Eric in the class and I knew just what song to sing to let him know he can't hurt me any more. Then the voice in my head said 'Yeah stick it to the man!, no boy.' I chuckled at my conscious' humor.  

 This is a story that I have never told

When I am done everyone is staring at me and then a little offended I say "What?!" and everyone just leaves in awkward silence. Then I see Eric "Did you not just hear what I sang now get out!" Then Tobias comes over to me. "Are you okay?" I look up and his eyes are full of content. "Yeah I just needed to get that off my chest." Then he nods and we leave for free period.
