CHAPTER ONE - The Worlds Gone Mad!

Nadine

I walked down the dark corridor. Was she here? "Oh Nadine...." The voice purred."NO!" I shouted. I could feel her beady eyes fixed on me.

"You look like your mum, Mrs Coal. I wonder if you're a slag, just like her?" She said, taking a step forward.

"Don't call her that!" I snapped. I turned to look at her, she had a dirty smirk on.

"Oh, I'm sorry your mum is a teacher who cheats on your dad with what...? A student?" She paused. "What a slut."

Anger filled me, my fists clenched. "Leave me alone." I said under gritted teeth.

"Ah, Nadine, you're so easy to wind up." She grinned. "You need to face the fact that your mum is a slag, you're the biggest bitch ever, no one likes you, your dad had a lucky escape." She said with a cruel grin.

I looked to the left at the water sprinkling out of the fountain, and with a raise of my hand, the water floated into mid air. "What the..?" The dark girl gasped. With the turn of my hand, the water turned into an ice brick.Her voice rang through my mind."Your mum is a slag!""Your mum is a slut!" "You're the biggest bitch ever.""Nobody likes you!"

"Get out of my head!" I screamed. That's when I threw my hand forward and watched as the ice block collided with her head, throwing her to the ground at full force.I walked over to where her body lay, her eyes were open with the ghost of a smirk still etched upon her face.

"Nadine!" I shouted. "Where are you?" I was down the English corridor within under a second. I ran to the French corridor and there was Nadine. I was by her side in less than a second. "What the..." My voice trailed off.There was a body beneath Nadine. I gasped taking a step closer to her. "Nadine, what have you done?" She didn't reply, she just looked down at the body.I knew Nadine got angry very quickly and usually did or said things without thinking. But I had noticed that she had kept the rages down recently, when people called her mum, Mrs Coal a slag and a slut. This was because Mrs Coal had had an affair with Peter Swing, a boy in the year above. Mrs Coal had been let out on bail and was forced to resign. I looked down at the body. It was female, and wore the school uniform but I had never seen her before. "Nadine who is she?" I asked.She tried to speak, but then her body began to shake, and tears rolled down her cheeks."I am a murderer." She whispered. "She wouldn't leave me alone, she kept on shouting things about me and my mum. First of all I could keep myself calm so I just ignored her, but today I lost it and used my power on her."I knew about Nadine's power, about how she could control water and make it form in different ways.I also had the power. The power of speed. I could get around half the town in one second. "Nadine, it's okay, calm down." I said, putting one hand on her shoulder. I knew it wasn't okay but what else could I say?Whatever Nadine does, I will always love her, she is the most beautiful girl in the world.Her light blue eyes locked into mine and we stood there staring into each other's eyes. Nadine started to move her face closer to mine. I didn't move. Her nose touched mine.Footsteps started coming, Nadine took a step back and looked at the ice block laying next to the dead girls head. "Make it go, so we can get out of here!" I snapped. Nadine and spread her hand out while facing the ice block, and in seconds the block started to stream until it was just a pool of water next to the mystery girls head. The footsteps were close now, I could hear other peoples conversations from here. "Come on Nad, let's get out of here." I whispered. I grabbed her arm and started to run.
