Gwen and I put our bags in the very back of the van and got in. I sat a seat in front of Gwen, so Brendon could sit by her. The van was pretty big, I think it could hold ten or so people. Two up front, two seats in the middle, then two rows of three seats. Diego waited until we got in and buckled to go and get Mark and Jane. They lived two miles up the road from my aunts house. Mark had two huge duffel bags and Jane did as well. Mark and Jane got in and sat in the two middle seats. Diego drove to Brendon's house to get Tim and Brendon. Surprisingly they were sitting on the porch waiting for us. They had normal suit cases and they put them in the back once we pulled up. Gwen had to get out because we had to put the last row of seats down for more room. So, in the back was Gwen, Brendon , Tim and I. I was up against the side of the van, sharing a seat with Tim. Gwen and Brendon were sharing a seat also. I looked out the window the whole time we drove to the airport.
The airport was pretty far away from our city, even though it was big. We have to drive 18 hours to the nearest airport. Eh, I don't mind because I get to sleep and Dawn and Diego switch places. Tim fell asleep and his head ended up on my shoulder. I jumped at first then looked back out the window. Gwen was asleep leaning on Brendon as he was looking out the window. Jane and Mark were talking about some TV show or whatever. I heard a song on the radio I'd love and sang along softly. Mark and Jane sang with me, Brendon join in later in the song. We all sang to it out loud, soon. Tim and Gwen slept through us singing. Brendon and I got to know each other more. He said that he'd really did like Gwen, but he didn't know how she felt about him. I said to him ask her some time how she feels. He gave me this smile, like I lit up his day or something. I smiled backed at him as Tim started to wake up finally. Tim looked at me and said sorry. I said I didn't mind because Gwen uses me as a pillow all the time.
He chuckled at the fact I do make a good pillow. I yawned as the sky started to darken to the sunset. I slowly leaned on Tim then fall asleep, he didn't mind. He watched the sun go down and yawned. Brendon was leaning on Gwen and they were fast asleep. Mark and Jane were passed out in their seats, hanging over their arm rest, like zombies on a fence. I woke up to a stop in the van, traffic stopped moving. I looked over at Tim and he was passed out and on the floor somehow. I looked up at Diego, who looked very pissed off, and asked what happen. Dawn said someone had into a car crash. Diego sighed as traffic started to move and we got closer to the wreck. The car was flipped over on it's roof and glass was everywhere on the street. The people who were in the crash were getting patched up by EMS. The police and fire company were there figuring out how the people manage to crash the car. I stared at the car as Diego drove by the crash.
I sighed and went back to sleep, leaning on the door. Diego drove to a gas station and stopped so Dawn and him could switch places. Gwen was basically cuddling herself, thinking it was Brendon, and Brendon was sleeping with his head on the back of the seats. Tim was on the floor sleeping, cuddling Brendon's leg, and using Brendon's foot as a pillow. I was leaned up against the side on the van sleeping, using my arm as a pillow. Mark and Jane were still zombies over a fence. Dawn got in the drivers seat and Diego got in and set the GPS up for Dawn. Once he got it set up we were on our way to the airport once again. Diego fell asleep for 2 hours or so, then woke up and stayed up with Dawn. Dawn was a way better driver than Diego, at least what I thought. Mark woke up once the sun was shining in the windows. I was already up and so wasn't Gwen. Brendon, Tim, and Jane were still asleep. We stopped at a Sheetz and got food then piled back into the van. We went on our way and I woke up Tim for food.
He looked at me and thanked me. Gwen gave Brendon his food and Mark gave Jane her food. Brendon and Jane thanked Gwen and Mark for food. Tim got up and sat in between Brendon and I and got buckled. I ate my sandwich,\leaving the hash brown in the bag. Tim asked if I wanted it and I said no he can have it. He gladly took the hash brown and ate it after his sandwich. Brendon ate his sandwich then yawned. Gwen ate hers and drink her coffee. Jane ate her and ate whatever Mark didn't eat of his sandwich. Diego was driving again and he was eating some sandwich Dawn got for him. Dawn had already finished her sandwich and she got all the garage and put in it in a garage bag. I looked out the window again as Tim played on his phone. Brendon and Gwen were bonding over some TV or movie they watched sometime in class. Mark and Jane were having a poke war and singing to the radio. I stared out the window and started to zone out from everyone.
"Scarlet." Tim said trying to get my attention. I blinked then looked at Tim "Huh?" He chuckled "You zoned out like completely for 6 minutes." He said looking right into my eyes. "Oh.." I looked away from him and right out of the window again. Gwen was staring out the window, while Brendon was on his phone. Mark and Jane were singing a long to the radio like they always do. I hummed along to a song. Tim looked at me as I started humming. He looked back down at his phone and I continued to hum to the song. I yawned and leaned on Tim, soon to fall asleep.
