Once we finally arrived at the hotel, we got our bags and headed through the doors. The doors were a big wooden like door. Like something you would see on a castle or a really old mansion. When I walked into the place, I was amazed by how much the inside of the hotel was decorated like a castle. The hotel we were staying at was called Black Knights to make it feel like a castle like hotel. The walls looked stone like, the floor was a stone with a single red carpet going to the main desk. Diego and Dawn checked in for all of us while we all explored the hotel farther more. The pool was huge, they also had a huge hot tube in for them as well. Gwen, being her curious self, she looked up the history of the hotel and turns out some people had died in the hotel back in the early 18th century. The rooms were split up into two or three people per room so we had three rooms. Diego and Dawn of course roomed together. Tim, Brendon, and Mark shared a room, once Tim entered the room he sighed. "There's only two beds then a couch bed..." Tim said with hopelessness in his voice. Tim, knowing he was going to get the couch bed, put his stuff near the couch and sat on it. Mark plopped on the bed near the window of the room. Brendon sat on the bed near Tim.
Jane, Gwen, and I were sharing a room. We had the boys room in between Diego and Dawn's room. We really didn't want to hear all the lovey dovey crap they do all night long. Our room was set up like the guys, so being a good sport I am, I put my stuff on the couch bed and sat on it. Jane got the bed by the window, and Gwen had the bed near me. I turned on the TV and flipped through out channels to see what they had. "Nothing good is on..." I groaned and got up, grabbing a room key and heading towards the door. "And where might we be going?" Jane said with a motherly voice, looking right at me. I looked back and her , shrugging "To explore the hotel more, It seems to be an interesting place after all." Jane nodded then went back to her movie. Gwen was laying on her stomach and watching the X-Files. I walked out of the room and popped my ear buds into my ears. I scrolled through my songs and hit "Carry on wayward son by Kansas".
I've been listening to the song since I got into Supernatural. Tim was down stairs getting snacks from the vending machine while I was jamming out to the song. It was like I was in a trance or something with the song and walking down the long hallways. Tim tapped my shoulder to get my attention since I had ear buds in. I jumped and whirled around to see who had tapped my shoulder. "Whoa, Hey I didn't mean to scare you like that.." Tim had his hands up, which were filled with snacks and drinks. "It's fine I just got freaked out.." I could feel my face burn red but not a lot. "I was just walking around do you want to join me?" I asked Tim, looking up at him. "Um, Sure. Do you want one of these Sodas?" Tim smiled softly and handed me a soda anyway.
Tim and I continued to walk the long hallways of the hotel until 11 or so. We laughed and joked about what could happen on the trip. "What about the zombie apocalypse? Could that happen?" I looked at Tim with a slight look of worry. "Possibly with today's Technology, But I doubt it will happen today or tomorrow." Tim looked at me with a reassuring smile on his face. I looked at my phone once Gwen texted me, the text said "Hey, You better get back here the power went out on the floor we're on and I think it might happen to the floor you're on also-." I looked puzzled at my phone then the lights all of a sudden shut off. It was creepy because the lights slowly shut off down the hallway as if someone or something was turning them off.
I didn't care who or what turned off the lights at time but I did care that we got back to our rooms. Tim and I basically ran up the stairs then to our rooms. I ran into the room and sat on Jane's bed with Jane and Gwen. Tim sat on Brendon's bed with Brendon and Mark. I don't think anyone of us went to sleep with night at all. After, that long and dark night in the hotel we all went down for breakfast. Turns out the whole city didn't have any power what so ever. They said someone or something hit the power plant last night with a lot of force. Most of the people in the town were turning crazy.... Soon people started to turn into zombie like people since all the food was going bad... I turned and looked at Tim with tears running down my face, as we were talking about this happening last night. Tim had his eyes wide and he just pulled me into a tight hug.
