"I guess it's official now... We're screwed." Dawn said trembling. "We ca still ge-" Diego was cut off by an "aaaaaaaaa" sound. The TV had attracted one of those things. I press a finger to my lips as I slide a bit closer to it. I froze as the thing looked to be what was directly in my eyes.. It turned to a sound in the police station down stairs and screeched out louder to the noise while running off in the direction. I quickly waved to everyone to come on and they did. We run up the stairs to the second floor. The offices. It was clear so far we could see. We spilt up on the floor to see if we could find any extra melee weapons at all. We knew they were attracted to sound so we couldn't use guns.. it would track in more.. a lot more.. we didn't want the unwanted attention.

It all started when the scientist were looking for a cure for a virus. This virus was powerful. It could turn the whole world against itself if it really wanted to. This virus was all the Blue Hinder. BH-21 to shorten it. They said it had the ability to make the human body die then bring it but to life but it a different manor.. The body would be brain dead and focused on one thing. Eating. The food of this being would be unknown. Many human flesh, brains, other thing, who knows.. This virus could also mutant very quickly. They tested on many rats.. They were trying to find a vaccine or something they could do to stop this virus. Once it failed on the rats, they switched to humans. This is when patient 21 comes in. They got patient 21 from a prison. The dude was in for slaughtering 10 people at a party and got 25 to life.
Anyway, not important, the dude saw it as an optional way of getting out of the hell he was in. So he took the offer up and they shipped him off to the labs. The doctors there were fairly nice but on the other hand the nurses weren't quite as nice. They just shoved needles in him, took his blood. The patient started to get use to this "new" life of his. They injected him with the first dose of the vaccine. They put him in a room. The room was all white, padded walls, a cot to sleep on, the door on the other hand was gray. A solid metal door. It squeaks whenever you open it. It had a little window for food, and to look into the room. After patient 21 was injected, they put him in there.
Patient 21 had little changes to his body. His skin started to fall off, showing the skeletal systems in our body's, of course everything else under our skin as well. It wasn't long before patient 21 turned.. about 2-4 days until he was fully turned? He did show signs of annoyance towards lights, human voices and more. Whenever someone opens the little slot in the door, he would always lunge to the door and try to scratch the person. Many people quit the job of having to feed patient 21, due to his aggression. They had moved him out of his little station and to another cell closer to the lab. The scientists were to watch over him now. Yes, patient 21 had turned, but there was something special about him. No, he couldn't talk to us humans. He tore off his skin, making himself bleed, writing in his own blood on the clear window cell. The scientists were shocked almost. Were they all going to be like this..?
After a long week of hard work, patient 21 had escaped the lab. 21 had escaped by a new scientist in the lab. The newbie didn't know how the properly lock the door to the cell after running some test. 21 was asleep at this time but whenever he woke up. He noticed the door and pushed on it. Luckily no but security was in the building at the time. 21 pushed the door open and took off as he ran down the hallways on the place. He hit the exit door, full force. The door flung off and hit the building as it swung open. 21 looked around and growled lightly.. then he headed into the city where the group was.
** Bring us back into the present time**
As we searched the offices for more supplies, we all heard this huge inhuman roar. "What was that..?" Mark said softly. "Could that be like... the leader..?" Jane asked softly. "Probably, so for now.. keep together and stay quiet as possible..." I spoke softly as I shifted towards a window to look. I gently lifted the blinds up a bit to peak out side. There he was. 21 just standing there and looking around. His hair was partly white. He let out yet another loud scream like growl. Those things started running from all over, swarming him. They were making a weird circle shape around him. He roared out once more. I jumped a bit as we were all by the window watching this.
The creatures followed patient 21 to a near by building. It was very much taller than the police by 8 floors. "What's the plan now..?" Tim asked softly as we weren't all prepared for this exactly.. "To get out of this city.. or get back to the airport or some part of transportation back home..." Diego responded softly. I nodded, agreeing with Diego. "Sure we might be a kinda big group but with the population of this city.. I think it'll be more so worse if we follow the people with the military here. That'll just attract more of them if we're going off zombie based movies." I spoke softly. "Yeah, plus we already know they react to sound.. and that weird creature man thing..?" Gwen replied. "It's the best thing to stick with small groups plus if needed, we can spilt into groups of 4 but make sure 2 guys are in each group a long with the girls." Dawn replied ACTUALLY saying something smart for once. I nodded. "Agreed" said Jane.
