Ch. 2 Be Careful

Louis' POV

I ran up to my room, which is right next to Zoe's. I put my stuff on the bed, and sat on the bed. Then Harry popped his head in my room.

"Oh, you might want to check Twitter." He said, and left.

I grabbed my phone and saw that Harry had tweeted, tagging me, Zoe, and our mother.

It had the picture of Zoe and I sleeping on the plane. I saved the on my phone and looked my mum's tweet.

'@JohannahDarling: @Harry_Styles nice!!! Have fun and be careful!! @Louis_Tomlinson @ZozeeBo'

I know what that means. No using powers around the boys, no swimming near people. I decided to send out a tweet.

'@Louis_Tomlinson: @JohannahDarling we will! Right @ZozeeBo!'

I threw my phone aside and finished unpacking.

Zoe's POV

'@Louis_Tomlinson: @JohannahDarling we will! Right @ZozeeBo!'

Ugh. Between that and my mum's tweet, they were really aggravating me. I'm never gonna hear the end of "be careful"

'@ZozeeBo: @Louis_Tomlinson @JohannahDarling yeah, sure... 😊'

I walked out of my room, wanting to explore the house. I walked past all of the others guys' rooms and heard them in there, so I was free to roam around without anyone coming. I walked down and checked out the living room and kitchen, found a bathroom downstairs, a game room, and a small recording studio! This place is awesome. I walked outside and saw a pool, then walked over to the balcony and there was the beach. I turned to my right to find a staircase right down giving us access to the beach whenever. It's a private beach too! We can go swim whenever!

Speaking of swimming...... 😏 I ran down the stairs and stood near the water.

'I'm going swimming. Later!' I mind messaged Louis.

Before he could answer, I ran out to the water, and dived in. 10 seconds later, my blue tail appeared.

'Zoe, no! We need to be careful! Come back up here!' He said back. I looked up and saw Louis out by the pool area.

'Too late, look down.' I said, waving and laughing.

'Zoe!!!! Get out now!!' He said, running down the stairs.

Uh oh. I dove straight under and started swimming away. I heard a splash and turned to see Louis gaining up on me. I swam faster, but not fast enough apparently. Soon, I saw a blue tail right in front of me. He pulled me up to the surface.

"Zoe! What did mum and I tell you about being careful?!?!?!" He yelled. Oh, he is really angry.

"I am being careful!! Does it look like anyone can see me? No!" I yelled back.

"You could have gotten hurt! You need to listen to us!!"

"I'm fine! What? Do you not trust me?!?!" I yelled.

"Well, maybe I shouldn't! You already disobeyed me!"

"Good" I said, getting out of his grip. "Now we know where we stand." I said, diving under the water and swimming as fast as I could back to the house. I pulled up on shore, and saw Louis almost to shore. I clenched my fist and my tail dried. I got up and ran to the house and to my room. I locked the door and the door to the bathroom. I sat down on my bed and there was a knocking at the door.

"Zoe, I'm sorry!" Louis yelled. I didn't answer.

"Zoe, please!" I ignored him. I decided to change my clothes, so I went to my closet. It's a walk-in closet, so I walked to the back of it. I felt something hit my head, and I looked up. A rope came down from the ceiling. I pulled it and a ladder came down. Curious, I climbed up. My eyes widened at the sight. It was a huge studio!it had a desk, and huge open space!  I can use this for making videos! Suddenly, an idea came to my head. I climbed down, grabbed my phone and my speaker, and unlocked the door, but kept it closed by bending my fingers.

I climbed up the ladder and closed it, then let my hand go. I heard the door open and Louis yell, "Zoe?!" I chuckled to myself and just sat for a while, waiting for him to leave. When the door closed, I took my phone out and called Simon. He was the one who owned this house, anyway.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey, Simon. It's Zoe." I said.

"Oh, hello Zoe. How are you liking the house?"

"It's amazing, but I was wondering, the studio in the attic above my room, is it soundproof?" I asked him.

"Yes it is. Is that all you wanted to know? I have some work that I need to get done."

"Yes, that is it. Thanks Simon." I said, hanging up.

Then, Louis mind messaged me.

'Where are you?!?' He asked.

I wasn't going to lie, so I said:

'In the house.'

I climbed down the ladder and laid on my bed. It's about 7:30, so I ordered a pizza. When the doorbell rang, I ran downstairs, thankfully not bumping into anybody. I paid for the pizza and shut the door. I turned around and Louis was standing there.

"Where have you been?!? I've been looking for you for half an hour!" He yelled at me.

"I told you. I've been in the house." I said, walking to my room, ignoring everything he was saying.

This is gonna be a fun four months.
