Ch. 11: Why Are We Here?

Okay, let's try this again.....

*Zoe's POV*

Joe had just dropped me off at the house. It's about 5:30 in the morning, so nobody is awake yet. Alfie Marcus and Joe had to go film a video out on the beach, so they just dropped me off. I knew I couldn't get back to sleep, so I trudged upstairs and changed into a bathing suit. I knew Louis would be worrying about me, so I took a sticky note and wrote that I was heading to the island, then stuck it on his door. I did the same for Niall, I don't know why, it just felt right to have him know as well, being the other merman in the house.

I ran down to the water and dived in. I slowly glided through the water, taking in the beautiful sea life. I made it to the cave about half an hour later and got out of the water. I dried my self off and lied on the sand, looking up at the sky. The sun is starting to rise, so the sky is slowly becoming more illuminated. It looked so beautiful.....

"Zoe? Zoe. Wake up, Zo..." Someone was shaking me. I opened my eyes, Louis and Niall were there.

"Guys? Where are we?" I asked. I looked around and remembered this morning. "Oh..." I trailed off.

"Why were you sleeping out here? I thought you were with Joe and Marcus and Alfie?" Louis asked.

"Uh... Recording! Recording a video. They had to go record, so I was just gonna swim and think until you got here, but I guess I fell asleep. What time is it?" I asked.

"Babe, it's like 10:30. When did you get out here?" Niall asked.

"Around 5:30." I told them.

"They had to go record a video at 5:30 in the morning?!" Louis exclaimed.

"You guys have had to, don't be so surprised." I told them.

"That's true. We were getting worried cause you hadn't come back so we came to make sure you're okay." Niall said.

"So basically Louis was worried about me and made you come with him to make sure I was okay?" I smirked.

"Yep" Niall said popping the 'p'.

"You're so overprotective!" I exclaimed grabbing Louis' arm and pulled him down next to me. I put my arm around him and lied my head on his shoulder. "It's cute sometimes." I said and he laughed.

"I have to be. I'm your big brother." Louis said.

"Sorry for intruding on your BSM, but are we gonna go do something today like Zoe wants to if or not?" Niall asked.

"BSM?" Louis asked.

"Brother-Sister Moment. And don't read my mind you arse!" I said hitting Niall playfully.

"You want to go do something?" Louis asked.

"Yeah, I thought it would be fun to hang out with the mermen for the day." I told them.

"I have an idea, why not add some others to the party?" Louis smirked, then jumped in the water. "Follow me." He said as the bubbles surrounded him and his tail formed.

"Wait, Louis where are we goi-" I was cut off by him splashing us and swimming out of the cave. I dived in and heard a splash behind me. I looked back and saw the bubbles surrounding Niall and I. We both sped out of the cave following Louis. We swam as fast as possible to keep up with Louis for about 4 minutes before he slowed down.

We swam up to the beach and hid behind some rocks to dry off.

"Where are we?" Niall asked.

I heard two people talking. They seemed to be about half a mile away from here. Yeah, another mermaid perk: super hearing. Like a vampire or werewolf, or a wolfblood(anyone?anyone?). The two people sounded like that had a.....

"Australia?" I asked.

"Yeah...." Louis said.

"Why bring us here? I kind of wanted to spend the day, you know, swimming.." I said.

"Well, I thought that I'd add some others to the party!" Louis said running ahead of Niall and I. What?

Rewritten and Fine

I'm sorry guys, I've been focusing on school as much as possible and I have no clue what to so with this story!

Give me ideas of what should happen! I already have sort of an idea, but I need more!

And most of you probably know where I'm going with the whole Australia thing..... ;)
