Ch. 6: Alfie, Joe, and Marcus

*Zoe's POV*

The girls ran back to their house to change while I walked back to the house. I walked into my room and grabbed my phone.

To: Joe

Hey. You guys want to hang out?

A minute later, I got a reply.

From: Joe

Like right now? We're at the beach atm.

That's perfect.

To: Joe

Thats fine. Perfect actually. Can I bring a few friends? Like 3?

Immediate reply.

From: Joe

Yeah. Cool. Alfie's excited now. 😍😘

Great. Now I just have to change and wait for the girls.

I quickly changed and walked downstairs. The guys were all sitting in the living room, playing FIFA.

"Hey, I'm going out." I said, and turned to the door.

"Woah, hold up. Where are you going?" Louis said. Classic brother.

To hang out with Dylan, Poppy, Carter, and some others......" I trailed off.

"Who?"

"Joe, Marcus and Alfie..." I said, knowing he doesn't particularly like them.

"No." He said.

"What?!" I asked.

"No." He said again.

"Yeah, well bye!" I yelled, running out of the door, and slamming it shut to slow them down.

"Zoe!" Louis yelled, but I just kept running.

I eventually made it to the girls' house and yelled at them to run. We all ran to the bus station and onto the bus that was there. The doors closed and the bus started moving. Then, Louis got to the bus stop, and he looked MAD. I pulled my phone out to text Joe.

To: Joe

Which beach?

From: Joe

Santa Monica.

Right.

Luckily the house was close to Santa Monica. We wouldn't have to go far.

The bus then made its stop at Santa Monica pier.we got out the bus and ran down to the beach.

"Guys! Over here!" I said to them, and they followed. We always met up in the same place, behind some big rocks where nobody goes. We walked over to the big rocks and saw the guys sitting there.

"Okay so I'm thinking maybe when she gets here we scare her, like just hide and then pop out of nowhere and just scream and stuff." Joe said to Alfie and Marcus.

"Or you could not, ya eejit." I said, waking closer to them.

"Zoe!" Joe said, getting up and hugging me. Marcus did the same, but Alfie.... Alfie got up, ran to me, and pulled me in for a kiss. I, of course, kissed him back.

.....oh.... Did I not say that he is my boyfriend? Yeah....

We both pulled away, and he wrapped his arm around me. I looked to the girls. They were all looking at me wide eyed.

"YOU'RE DATING ALFIE DEYES?!?!?!" They all yelled together.

"Yeah..." I said.

"We've kept our relationship a secret 'cause we don't want things to get crazy." Alfie told them.

"Oh my gosh, you're so dead!" Poppy said.

"In more than one way..." Carter muttered, but we all heard.

"Wait, what does she mean?" Joe asked as we all sat on the blanket they had put out.

"Louis...... He said that I couldn't come hang out with you guys. I don't know why he doesn't like you...." I said, snuggling into Alfie.

"Probably cause you're dating Alfonso here." Marcus said, and everyone agreed.

"What did you do to get here then?" Alfie asked.

"Well, Alf, I ran out of the house as fast as possible. Then, ran to their house," I said, pointing to Poppy, Dylan, and Carter."Then, we all booked it to the bus station."

"All while Louis was chasing us." Dylan said. The guys all cracked up laughing.

"Can't Louis just read your mind, you know, to find out where you are?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah, but I've been blocking him out. It's giving me a headache!" I said, rubbing my temples.

"Hey, hey calm down, babe." Alfie said, rubbing my arm.

"Yeah, why don't you go for a swim or something? We can all come with you!" Dylan said, motioning to the girls.

"They know?" Joe asked. I nodded.

"They're mermaids." I told them.

"Okay... " they all said. They take these things really well.

"C'mon, I know you guys love swimming with me!" I said.

"Yeah... Let's go!" Joe yelled, throwing his shirt off. Marcus and Alfie followed. See, this is one reason why I love these guys!

We all ran to the water, the girls and I diving under while the boys, minus Alfie, stayed more near shore. We all came back up, with tails.

"Alfie's a merman?!" Carter asked, making me nod.

"Zo, I never noticed, but your tail and top matches your eyes." Poppy said.(they all have tops that are like bandeaus)

"Um... Thanks?" I said, laughing. "Guys c'mon!" I yelled to Joe and Marcus. They ran out and jumped in. I felt an arm wrap around me from behind, and I turned to Alfie.

"Hey, Alf" I said.

"Hey, babe." He said. I laughed at him.

We both swam over to a rock that was under water, but still able for us to sit on. We sat there talking for, I don't even know how long, until we heard everyone screaming for us to come back to shore. We swam back, dried off, and we walked back to everyone.

"Guys, it's getting dark, we should head back." Joe said.

Great.

"Could you guys drop me and the girls off at the house? It's only, like, five minutes from here." I asked them.

"Um, yeah." Joe said. We all ran to the car they drove here. Five minutes later, we arrived at the house.

"You sure you'll be fine?" Alfie asked me, hugging me.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry." I said, pecking his lips.

"Bye guys! Thanks for the ride!" I yelled.

This outta be fun.
