Harry's Second Chance

Chapter 1
It had been three months since The Battle of Hogwarts. Harry, Ginny, Ron , and Hermione all sat in the living room of the Weasley's home. Agreed loosing many loves ones, there was not laughter anymore. "Ginny come help me with dinner dear." Mrs. Weasley called. Ginny kissed Harry's cheek. "Harry?" Hermione asked. He looked up. His face blank. "Yes Hermione?" he asked in a dull tone. "Harry what if we could change the way things happened? What if we could go back and save all those who died?" she asked softly. Harry glared at her. "And how do you suppose we do that Hermione?" He snapped at her. She flinched at his harsh tone. Ron looked slightly annoyed at Harry's attitude with his girlfriend, but he understands why he's so short with everyone. "Harry, I want to use a time turner." She explained. "And go back before any of this ever happened. Back to before your parents-" he cut her off. "That's not possible and you know it! Don't you think Dumbledore would have thought of that?" he asked her. She sighed. "Harry just give it a try. Please." He signed and nodded just as Ginny came back into the room. "What's going on?" she asked suspiciously. "Nothing Ginny." Ron said quickly. She narrowed her eyes a her youngest elder brother. "Harry, what's going on?" she asked knowing he would crumble and tell her anything. He looked panicked, glancing at his best friends for help. "Well, I've had an idea on how to cheer everyone up a little bit, and well it's going to take a while so Harry, Ron and I will be gone for a while and-" Ginny cut them off. "I'm coming too!" she said quickly. "The bloody hell you are Ginny!" Ron exploded. She glared a Ron. "Harry I'm coming with you, I can't be left here like last time not knowing if you're alive or not." She explained determined to get her way. Harry sighed. "Okay." He said simply. Ron growled. "You've got to be kidding me Harry! She isn't even of age yet! It's too dangerous!" Hermione glared at Ron. "Ronald! How can you say that? Ginny has as much right to try this as we do! How dare you say she can't do it because she is not of age and that it's too dangerous. Our lives since we started Hogwarts was nothing but dangerous!" she seemed livid. Ron's face paled slightly. "Alright fine, but you know mum wont like this." He grumbled. They all for flinched at the thought of telling her. "I say we leave her a note, but don't tell her what we are doing, we don't want to get her hopes up that we will succeed." Ginny spoke softly. They all nodded. Hermione pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill.

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Weasley,
We have something very important to attend to, I am very sorry to inform you that we cannot tell you what it is that we have to do. Ginny will be joining us, much to Ron's dismay. We know now is not the best time to leave without the best explanation, but its the best we could give. We knew you wouldn't let us go if we told you I'm person. Know we aren't doing this to further harm anyone. Also everyone wishes to write a message to you all. Please forgive us.

Mum, Dad,
I know you won't be happy Harry, Hermione, and I will be off again. I'm not truly sure what's going to happen on this trip, and sorry about Ginny coming I tried to keep her from coming, but she got Harry to say yes so she's coming. Know we love you and will be home soon hopefully.

Mrs. and Mr. Weasley,
Once again I will be setting of with Ron and Hermione. And this time Ginny, I know this will all but kill you to find our we aren't in our beds when you come to get us for breakfast. I'm sorry to drag your family away from you more than is necessary. I promise I will look after Ginny and Ron. Please forgive us for leaving without an explanation as to where we are going. Thank you for being such wonderful parents to me when I had none of my own. I'm grateful I have you all.

Mum and Dad,
I know you won't approve of us running off without telling you anything so I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I love you both dearly and hope you respect my wishes to be with Harry Ron and Hermione. I can't be cooped up while they are gone again. I need to help them. I'm going to be 17 in a month and I know you will be disappointed that you won't see me. But this is really important and has to be done. Please forgive me.

Hermione magically sealed the letters up as one and pilled all of their stuff into two bags. Harry and Ginny in one bag, and Ron and herself in another. Magically enhancing them with a weightless charm, and an enlargement charm. After everything was finished the two young couples set out with hope of changing their worlds. Leaving only a letter behind. No knowing weather or not they would ever walk thought that door again.
