Nico x reader "It isn't a dream"

Warning: this chapter is a little corny (is that how you say it?) but I thought that the idea was cute so I wrote it, hope you like it!

Your POV

You and Nico were sitting at the beach on Camp Half - Blood. His arm was wrapped around your shoulders, and your head was rested on his chest. Everything was so peaceful, beautiful, it was just perfect.
That's when all the questions and doubts you had tried really hard to hide deep on your mind started returning. 'What have you done to deserved someone like him? How could someone like him, so perfect, handsome, and caring (and super cute), be with someone like you? Is he even real? He is so perfect he could easily be a fictional character.' You had this between many other thoughts and questions like that. The problem was that right there on the beach, in front of the immense sea, seeing the sunset across the waves, feeling the breeze brushing gently your cheeks and moving little locks of your hair, and above everything being with him and only him, reality seem so false, so unreal, so... fictional. Everything, camp, your demigod friends, all the monsters and creatures, how could they be real? and how could something that magical and mystical, had happened to you?

That's when you couldn't tolarated it anymore. All the time you lasted trying to hide all this doubts was hurting you, especially hidding them from your lovely boyfriend Nico.
So, with a voice almost as soft as the wind, as quiet as you could, you asked him "Is this real?" saying it was difficult, you got a little tear eyed. Maybe you are thinking 'Why would someone even feel sad for something like that?' but imagine loosing a dream come true, accomplishing your deepest wish and loosing it right there, just like that. That was how you were feeling.
When Nico heard your question he hold you tighter, pulling you closer to him, you were so close to his chest you could feel his steady heartbeat, that made you feel a little bit better.

"What do you mean?" he asked kindly.

"You, Camp, everything, is it real, isn't it just a dream?" you asked in return.

"Why would you think something like that?"

"I never did anything to deserve you" you said sadly "I sometimes wonder if all this things about the Greek gods, and Camp aren't just an elaborated dream, I know I'm not that creative, but-"

"(Y/n)" Nico interrupted you, he pulled away to change positions so that you were looking face to face. He hold your hands and look straight into your eyes, you also looked directly at his.

He squeze a little you hands and then asked: "Can you feel my hands (y/n)? " he rubbed his tomb softly across your palm, you nodded. "That's because they are real, the same way yours are" then he interweaved his hands with yours.

"Can you see my eyes?" He continued " I can see yours and they are the most beautiful thing I had ever seen"
You could see a small sparkle in his beautiful deep obsidian black eyes, a small sparkle of hope, happiness, and love. You smiled, a small smile also appeared on his face.

Then he added: "Can you hear my voice? Because I can hear yours and it is an amazing sound that I could hear all day and night" You giggle, like in a kind and cute way, everything he was saying was really sweat. Nico grinned in return and kissed your cheek.

"(Y/N), you mean everything to me, you helped me repair my broken soul, you made me happy again, and I can tell you that that is real, I am real and I love you." He was really close now, you could feel his breath on your cheeks. Lining in a little closer, you closed the space between you two, kissing him with all the love you could.
"Thanks Nico, I love you too" you said when you broke for air. Then you leaned again for one more kiss, now with no doubt that this was real, absolutely real.
