Chapter Six: Protect me

I laid my head on Tyler's bed and just thought. Just thinking about Tyler being this shooter, murder kinda scared me. But I knew Tyler wouldn't hurt me for the world. Seeing this side of Tyler amazed me, somehow I still have a gigantic crush on him. But I should probably put these feelings aside.
Tyler laid on the bed next to me, but not touching me. I could tell he was thinking the same thing as me.
"I want to take you somewhere." He said out of the silence. I turned over to make eye contact with I'm and I just smiled as I looked into his eyes.
"And where might that be?" I asked him just gazing into his eyes even more.
"I'm not going to waste the surprise. Come with me." He explained as he got off the bed and held out his hand. I grabbed it and he helped me on my feet. He lead me out of the house and we just walked out in the middle of the night. He walked down the middle of the street it had to be around midnight, but I wondered where Tyler was taking me. He had his camera around his neck, and would take some pictures of me as we were walking.
As we were walking I notice someone in a car behind us. I grabbed Tyler's arm to move him out the way, do the car could come by. And I notice the car drove closer to us and stopped. I looked up at Tyler with a concerned look. And we just stopped, I recognized the car. It was Bryce's. He got out of his car and walked over to us, I noticed some other people in the back. My guess was some of his friends.
You thought back that he had a party that night, you understood that he had to be just wasted. Tyler just shuffled in front of you, was he actually protecting you?
"There she is! We decided to bring the party to you." He said as he was walking closer to us.
"Bryce I'm not interested. But leave me alone." I told him as I continued to walk down the side walk. Tyler followed me. I saw that Bryce just wouldn't stop. He kept walking after me.
"Leave her alone. " Tyler said as he grabbed you hand. You blushed.
"Your actually dating Tyler? Wow. You can do so much better. " Bryce replied. I just shook my head.
I started running. I kicked my high heels off do I could run faster. Tyler, still holding on to my hand ran with me. I looked back and thankfully Bryce wasn't there. I stopped and sighed of relief. I then hugged Tyler.
"Thank you for protecting me." I said as I looked up at him.
"Of course your my best friend." He said as he let go of my hand and continued to walk. We took a turn and ran through the trees. We came across a bridge and a creek with the moon shinning right on it.
We sat down on the bridge our legs dangling off.
"I realize that I lost my favorite shoes." I said giggling.
"I just realized that Bryce is worse than I thought."
We both laughed. Why was Bryce so obsessed with me? It was really creepy.
"Are you actually going to do it? You know.." I asked Tyler as I just stared at him. Then he turned looking at me.
"Yes. I mean unless you don't want me too. I wouldn't want to make you sad."
How could he be so sweet? I didn't want all these people to just die, but I knew Tyler wanted to do it. I just said it was fine. They deserve it.
