Wes swung the fry pan out with as his might, throwing it towards the gunman.

The loud vibrating sound of the pan colliding with this mans head thumped as Wes brought the fry pan back to himself.

He immediately dropped us as he turned back to us.
Courtney and I still clutching our knives as I watch Wes spring upstairs.
My eyes open slightly in a confused notion, before I darted around the counter and followed him upstairs.

I'm not sure if I was rushing or just plane ignorant but I didn't hear Courtney follow.

I followed Wes into a room where Mari laid on the floor, a deep bruise to her cheek and only moving subtly.

"Mari!" Wes whined as he dropped to the floor, he lifted her head before pulling her towards him.
She was alive and mostly conscious, Wes peered back at me with a worrying expression.
Once again I was too focused on Mari to hear the creek behind me.

"I- is she okay?" A faint winner called from behind me, I jumped before turning to see Noah, standing in the doorway blood trickled down his arm as he shook, clutching his hand.

"Noah, what happened?" I exclaimed.

He shakily opened his palm, showing a circular wound, gaping through each side of his palm, resonating a somewhat large amount of blood.

My eyes widened, my first thought being the first aid kit downstairs.

"Wait here.!" I escalopes before darting downstairs, I only made it halfway before I stopped.

About six steps up from the ground, unnoticed the gunman was gone leaving the front door wide open.

I slowly crept down the last few stairs to see Courtney, on the floor, coughing as if she had just been suffocated.
I knelt down to her, feeling like a nurse or doctor.

She stopped coughing, and began wheezing as she sat up, revealing beaming red marks around her neck deeply resembling two hands.

I stepped back, terrified once more.
But first things first.
I helped Courtney up, she seemed disoriented at some level so I held her and across my shoulders and helped her walk.

"Where's the first aid kit?" I asked.
Rubbing her neck she gestured to the pantry, I helped her to the kitchen bench where she held herself up as I rummaged through the pantry, grabbing a small white plastic box with a Red Cross on it.

I practically threw it from the pantry and onto the floor as I evangelical rummaging through.
I found some medical gauze and gripped it firmly as I found the bandages.

"I'll be straight back." I said, practically abandoning Courtney as I darted back upstairs and to Noah.

He seemed slightly more pale as he sat beside Mari, who was now fully conscious.

Noah's droopy eyes slowly traced towards me as I dropped to the floor infront of him.

I gripped his hand, hearing him wince in pain as I did.

I held both gauzes on either side of the wound before wrapping the bandage around his hand multiple times.
Since I didn't get a bandage clip I just tucked in the back.

Well, that was my knowledge extended.
