"Baby, baby wake up " her soft voice called. I opened my eyes as she ruffled my hair.

"I just had the weirdest dream" I grunted as I sat up.
She sat beside me, her hair wavy and in a mess.
She immediately jumped to me, wrapping her arms around my neck as she fell in my lap.

"Was I in it?" She questioned as her face was inches from mine,

"Of course, my love. " I hummed as my lips gently pressed against hers.

She parted, staring at me with a smile,

"What is it?" I asked, a smile seemingly plastered to my face.

"All the years I've spent dreaming about this moment.. Ands it's finally here." She hummed.

"I know the feeling." I sighed happily.

"Come on, get up" she called, hopping from my lap and making her way over to the dresser.

"Awe, why? This morning was so perfect" I explained.

"Because we're meting Shayne and Courtney for lunch today." She said as she happily grabbed out some clothes and laid them on the end of the bed.

"Oh, yeah'" I smiled, stretching.

"They called to ask earlier, since it's Mari and Damien's one year if we could stop off at their place and congratulate them"

"Oh yeah, who else is going?" I asked as I threw the sheets off myself and walked up behind her, gently wrapping my hands around her.

"The whole squad, Lcorn, Flitz, Ian, Anthony." She said happily.
"Everyone from both channels, basically."

"Sounds like. Plan" I smiled.

"Great. I'm going for a shower."

"Up,up. Before you go." I called, grabbing her hand as I stopped her.
"I love you" I smiled, leaning in for another kiss.

"Wes, please open you're eyes."
A crippling pain took over my body as I came to realise what real life is,.. Brutal.

"Please, Wes. It's been three hours, and that's just since I got her. Please"
I slowly opened my eyes, feeling numb as I stared down the corridor to the numerous doctors offices.

"There you are, buddy.." Courtney hummed happily, her eyes all red and puffy.
I didn't reply, I just sat in silence, waiting for the doctor to come out with the bad news....
