Oh no! How am I going to explain this to my father?? I hope he wouldn't mind...

I look down, not knowing how to say it.

Yugyeom: Uncle, Y/N and I are dating.
Father(YN): Y/N, is this true???
Me: Y-yeah.
Father(YN): Why didn't you tell me earlier?

He suddenly raise his voice. I got startled, waiting for the scolding to come. But...

Father(YN): I am so happy!! His father and I are best friends!! Right?
Father(YG): Of course! We are friends since elementary school.
Father(YN): Can't believe we are going to be a family!!

I heaved a sigh of relief. Luckily my father isn't mad. Yugyeom hold my hand, giving me a warm smile.

Father(YG): We are really great friends, being together for many years.
Father(YN): I know right!
Father(YG): Oh right, I have another meeting to attend. We should start our discussion now.
Father(YN): Alright. Let's start. Yugyeom and Y/N can wait at the lounge first. I'll call you guys when we are done.
Yugyeom: Yes uncle.

Yugyeom and I bowed a little before leaving.
We walk to the lounge.

Yugyeom: Want something to drink?
Me: Hot chocolate would be fine, thanks.

Yugyeom return with 2 cups of hot chocolate.

Yugyeom: I think both of us really love chocolate.
Me: Yup.
Yugyeom: Do you know your father well?

I sigh, thinking about the past.

Yugyeom: You don't have to say it if you don't want to. Don't force yourself.
Me: No, I'll say it. *sigh* I don't really know my father well. My parents live in another apartment. They visit us once in a week, just to check how we are doing. We don't attend any events that are related to the company.
Yugyeom: But why? Don't they want any of his children to inherit the company?
Me: I don't know either. They just tell us not to enter the company.
Yugyeom: Aren't you curious?
Me: I am. Just that...I'm afraid to ask why.
Yugyeom: Why don't you take the chance to ask him later?
Me: I'm not sure about that....

Just then, we hear some whispers.

Lady 1: I heard that she is the daughter of our CEO here.
Lady 2: Yeah, I've heard it too. She is so pretty.
Man 1: I know right? If only I have a girlfriend like her.
Man 2: I wonder if she has a boyfriend, I would like to know her more.
Man 1: Same. I hope the guy beside her isn't her boyfriend.
