Chapter 7

Caitlyn's POV
After the concert, we went to a pizza shop on the corner. It was like a hidden place and it wasn't crowded. We sat down in a booth and ordered a large pepperoni pizza.
"This was literally the best day ever!" Savannah said.
"I know!"
"And Jonah was giving you the eye!" She smirked and laughed. I had to laugh too.
"No."
"Whatever, Caity!" Savannah said smiling.
Our pizza came and we immediately dug in. I was starving. I hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast and it was 8:00 PM. I felt like a pig stuffing my face, but it tasted so good.
"Slow down girl." Savannah said with disgust.
"Sorry." I laughed.
I heard some people sit in the booth behind us, but I didn't bother turning around because the pizza was too good.
Just as I took a bite, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Jonah's POV
We walked into Nick's and sat in our usual booth and that's when I saw what I was looking for. It was her. It was her song. I stood up and stood behind her. Her friend's eyes got wide when I nervously tapped her shoulder. She turned around and our eyes met again.
She smiled widely as she was lost for words and clearly surprised to see me.
"Hey, you're that girl I met earlier." I said trying to sound cool.
"Yeah, I am." she responded.
"I found this earlier and I think it belongs to you." I handed her the paper.
Her mouth gaped open in surprise.
"Yeah, but it's yours, take it." she smiled handing it back to me.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I got nervous and didn't give it to you earlier." she said looking down.
"Thank you." I said looking at her.
It was fate, wasn't it? I found her song.
"Caitlyn, right?" I asked wanting to know more.
"Yes." she said surprised and wide-eyed.
Noticing her surprise, I responded, "It was on the paper."
"Oh." she said blushing.
"I'm Jonah." I smiled.
"Trust me, I know." she giggled.
"Nice to meet you." I decided to end it there even though I just wanted to talk for hours.
"You too, Jonah."
She turned back to her friend.
Behind me, I heard Caitlyn and her friend talking.
