Shintaro exited the school building, his book bag on his shoulder as he walked home. He got out his headphones and phone, scrolling down to find good musi-

“Shintaro! Hey Shintaro!” A familiar voice reached his ears; he blankly turned around to find his raven-haired scarf wearing friend, Ayano who ran to him, smiling and waving.

“Let’s walk home together!” She exclaimed when she was already in front of him. Shintaro blinked before answering. “Sure…”

Ayano smiled as they walked on their way home together.

Silence soon washed over them, there was only the soft tapping of shoes. Shintaro shivered slightly, he didn’t know it was going to be this cold in this time of the year.

Ayano stopped walking, she turned to him. “Are you cold, Shintaro?”

The boy shook his head. “N-No….” He simply replied. Ayano just smiled, she wrapped him with her red scarf, taking him by surprise.

Ayano took the other end and wrapped it around her own neck then she leaned closer to Shintaro, hugging his arm. “Is that warm enough for you, Shintaro?” She asked softly, eyes closed as she relaxed on the fabric.

Shintaro blushed pink, wanting her to push her away but…..it felt warm and comfortable for him in the same time.

“Yeah….thanks….” He replied, started walking again with Ayano by his side.
