“Hiya Josh~!”

He turned to around. “Ah! Oh, hey Taiwan….”

Taiwan and Josh are friends, first met bumping each other. Taiwan was shy while Josh was just had the unknown expression between blank and friendly at first. Taiwan occasionally sees him then greets him.

Josh would just wave, mumbling a greeting.

Today, they were both eating ice cream and sitting on a bench. Josh was currently hanging out with the rest of the GAP who are doing something not so far from him.

“So….I heard you have feelings for Minori…” Taiwan commented, licking her ice cream in thought. Josh blushed in anger. “W-What?! No!”

Almost everyone Josh thought he has feelings for the girl. But Josh denies it as they still go to the saying: ‘Denial’s the clincher!’ or something like that.

Besides….Josh likes….someone else….

He rolled his eyes, continuing to lick his ice cream. “That’s not true, Taiwan….” He groaned out. “Because I like someone else….” He soon realized what he said; he quickly covered his mouth with his free hand.

Taiwan jumped. “Really? Who?!” She went closer to Josh, causing him to back up and sink down.

“N-No one you know….” Josh blushed under her gaze.

“C’mon you gonna tell me!” She insisted, pouting. Josh always finds that cute, ended up blushing harder.

“N-No way!”

“Tell me!”

“No!”

“Why?”

“Just because!”

“’Just because’ isn’t the only answer to everything you know!”

Josh back up again, only to hit his head hard on the bench arm. He groaned, holding his head in pain.

“AIYA! So sorry, Josh! Let me see!” She leaned in closer to Josh and check his head if there’s anything wrong with it.

Josh blushed at the sudden closeness.

In the end, Taiwan forgot about the whole ‘who really is your crush’ façade and Josh was relieved.

That someone else, by the way, was Taiwan.

Her personality wasn’t so much different from Minori’s, cheerful and shy but there was something that made Josh’s heart beat faster whenever he’s around her.

He never really felt like that whenever around with other girls, especially Minori.

Josh sighed, as Taiwan takes his hand as they walk home together.

Someday, I’ll tell her how I feel.

Taiwan turned back to him, smiling and Josh returned it.
