There were rumors about a girl who has the power to turn you to stone who lives in the forests. People used to go there only to not come back. The present people warned everyone not to go in the forest…. Apparently, one didn’t know the warning….

An orange haired boy watched the nature in front of him, as if waiting for someone.

“Oi, Kano! Is he here already?” A green haired girl yelled, coming out of the cabin. The said boy turned to her. “No not yet.” ‘Kido’ sighed.

“He’s late….where could he be now?”

A raven haired man brushed his arm across his forehead to wipe the sweat off his forehead as he stopped for air.

“Shoot, I’m late….I wonder which direction is the cabin anyway?” He panted out, looking franticly around the nature that surrounded him. He and his friends decided to hang out at their new hideout but he lost the map and forgot to memorize the directions.

He continued to walk at a random path….he didn’t notice someone watching him from afar….

He stopped again to lean on a tree trunk, panting he looked up at the sky. “Argh…where is it?”

“N-N-Need s-s-some help, sir?” Seto heard a girl’s voice nearby; he turned his head to see a young girl below his age with white long curly hair with red eyes. He stared at her ruby orbs, thinking it was the most beautiful thing in the whole world.

“S-Sir?”

Seto shook his thoughts away. “Oh! Sorry! Um, I was trying to find a cabin outside this forest; I didn’t seem to find the exit….” He said, scratching his head sheepishly.

The girl blushed and got out of her hiding place. “I’ll lead you the way, si-“

“Oh, you can call me Seto!” He smiled. The girl’s eyes widened, blushing as she smiled again. “Seto….Seto-kun…”

“Kido! Kano!” Seto called out, waving at them from afar. The said people turned to the boy running to them. “Seto! You got us worried!” Kido scolded.

Seto scratched his head sheepishly. “Sorry for worrying you, Kido…”

“Dude, what took you so long?” Kano asked.

“You see, I got lost in the forest and-“

Kido looked at Seto with a strict face while Kano has his eyes widened. “You weren’t supposed to go through the forest!”

Seto blinked rapidly. “Why?”

“Rumors said there is a girl in there who can turn someone into stone!” Kano continued for Kido.

“I’m sorry guys, I didn’t know that because I lost my map….But I found a nice girl who lead me to you guys!”

“Who?” Kido and Kano asked in unison.

“Right here!” Seto smiled at pointed to a spot behind him, only to find it empty. Seto looked around. “Little girl? Little girl!”

Kano blinked. “Seto, no one’s here….”

Seto looked back at his friend. “But she was just right here….and…..I didn’t even get her name….” He frowned. Kido patted his back and told him to go inside so he can rest.

All of this was watched by the girl, Marry, who hid in the bushes. “It is him…..the one who saved me and the one I admire….” She whispered to herself, blushing.
