Raven fell to her knees her black hair covered her face. Her best friend, her partner, her other half. She was gone.
She jumped up and grabbed Syd's collar
"You're lying!" She practically screamed at the man.
He looked st her with a sad expression.
"I'm sorry Raven...but Kat did what she thought was right..." he placed both hand son the distraught girls shoulders "she's gone"

Raven let go of the man.
She wondered if she even had the will to keep going. Kat had been there for her through the worse times. Even though they didn't see eye to eye when they first Met, their friendship eventually grew to the point that Raven was even willing to sacrifice everything to keep Kat safe. Of course, she'd never tell the young gravity shifter that.
