Otabek P.O.V

Why is he blushing for? Yuri's face looks just like Mila's this morning in first period. Well, I guess I have a friend now. At least my mom be as mad as yesterday, when she will hear that I actually got one. I decided to continue with our conversation. "Well, you have some really good looking pictures."I say to him. Crap! I think to myself, as I just realized what I said. His face was as red as a tomato by now. I think I might even be blushing a tiny bit too.

We didn't talk anymore for the remainder  of lunch. When the bell rang, he was still blushing a little.

"Get your textbooks out and turn to page, 203." My social studies teacher tells us. I'm in 5th period know, and I'm already doing work, on my second day of school! Personally, I don't mind as long as it will help me excel in my education.
While, my teacher is reading to us, for the first few paragraphs, my mind wanders a bit. I start to think about Yuri. Snap out of it! Focus on school actually! My mind keeps trying to tell me, but I don't listen. Well, really my heart doesn't listen.

Next thing I know, my teacher is in my face snapping her fingers at me to get me to focus. "Otabek pay attention, will you!" My teacher yells at me. Everyone starts to laugh, when I finally gain conscience again, I start to sink in my chair. I've never been so embarrassed in my whole life before!

Finally, this horrible day is over! I start to walk to my motorbike after school, and think to myself, I wonder if Yuri left me another note. Sure enough he did.

Dear Otabek,

Now that we're friends, I was wondering if you wanted to start texting each other. Here is my number:

361-456-7892

Just to let you know, when you text me it will show your phone number, so you don't have to worry about giving me yours.

From,

Yuri Plisetsky

When I got home, I  immediately ran to my room. I closed the door, and locked it. "What are you doing Otabek?" My mom asks me through the door. "Homework!" I yell. Then, when I heard my mom start to walk away, I turn on my phone and plug Yuri's number into my contacts.
Soon we start to text.

Me: hey Yuri, this is Otabek

I wait a little bit for a response. Soon I feel my phone vibrate, and sure enough it's Yuri.

Yuri: Hey

We text for about an hour from that point. Of course, I still did my homework while texting, what kind of person do you take me for? "Otabek, do you wanna help me with dinner?" I can hear my mom ask me through my shut door. "Sure, I'll be there in a minute!"I say.
Soon, I open my door and dash to the kitchen. I don't bring my phone with me, because my mom would find it disrespectful. For dinner we're going to have, Spaghetti and Meatballs. Pretty simple if you ask me. While I'm helping my mom with boiling the noodles, she asks, "do you still not have any friends?" I then decide to tell her about Yuri. I don't however tell her about me thinking about him 24/7, because she might get mad. I'm not saying I'm gay, I'm just saying it may seem like that to her, and I have a very homophobic family. "I'm very proud of you, Otabek!" She says. I blush a bit from her embarrassing praise. The reason my mom is so proud of me, is because I've never been very sociable in my life. I never really had a friend, and I've always like to keep it that way. But, Yuri is different. I don't know how I really feel towards him, but he makes me feel all tingly inside when I see him.
