Falling for the King [FINISHED]

I got a few questions about the time line and and about Ollie being too young for the King.

So the first thing you need to know, is that you were considered an adult in that time when you are about 12.

Then, when Ollie starts working at the palace, he is 14 years old. The king is 19. Ollie works at the palace for a full year, and by the time they kiss Ollie is 15 and the king is 20. A few months pass until the epilogue. By that time Ollie has turned 16 and King George is almost 21.

I suppose that in our age the age gap would have been considered too big, mostly because Ollie is still underage. But in that time, he was considered an adult. And for adults five years isn't that big of an age gap.
