Chapter 7

Kakashi's POV
As we walked further Obito kept being way too fucking loud. I walked towards Minato-sensei and nudged him. "Can't Obito be silent?" I asked him. He shrugged when suddenly there was smoke in front of us. I got out multiple kunai and got into a defensive stance. When the smoke cleared I saw (y/n) standing there. I blushed ever so slightly under my mask. Yes I kinda had a crush on (y/n), but I won't ever confess. 'Her beautiful (e/c) eyes seem like they pierce right through me. Her (h/l)(h/c) swaying in the wind. Her plump lips so kissable. And that nice a- Kakashi stop! You're getting off track.' I blushed at my thoughts. When Minato waved his hand in front of me I jumped back. "Kakashi you were staring." I blushed even more. "At (y/n), and I saw you blush." He whispered in my ear. 'Fuck.'
Your POV
As you teleported in front of your team you saw them stand in a defensive pose. When they realized they greeted you. "How did you know where we were?" Minato asked. "I got the time you guys left and I got the route you follow. So it was pretty easy." You told him. As you looked past him, you saw Kakashi staring at you. 'Is there something on my face?' You wondered, so you asked Minato-sensei. "No." He said and walked towards Kakashi. You turned towards Obito and gave him a hug. Afterwards you did the same with Rin.
You continued traveling with them and you guys split up because sensei had to help on the front lines while we continued to walk to our destination. As we walked through the woods suddenly a trap went off. "Fuck!" You shouted. As Obito did a fireball jutsu the bamboo that fell down were set on fire. 'That wasn't a smart move at all.' You saw Kakashi trying to hit the enemy with his chidori, but he was too late. Rin was gone, taken by the enemy. "Shit!" You shouted, angry at yourself for not being able to protect your teammate.
"We have to find Rin!" Obito shouted. You nodded in agreement, but Kakashi disagreed. "We should complete the mission." He said. You were furious. "So you find the mission more important then your teammates? I'm disappointed Kakashi." You said. "You know the white fang was a true hero." Obito said as the both of you walked away.
Kakashi's POV
"So you find the mission more important then your teammates? I'm disappointed Kakashi." I heard (y/n) say. 'I fucked up.' I thought as Obito and (y/n) walked away. I felt my heat ache. 'I really fucked up. I can try completing the mission or I can help the others and try and impress (y/n). Let's go for the second option.'
