Kakashi's POV
'Let's go for the second option.' I thought. I followed the scent of (y/n) and Obito and eventually found them. I sat high in the tree as I waited for the enemy to attack. I saw one go up to Obito from behind, but before he could do any harm, I got in front of Obito and stabbed the enemy with my sword. Obito turned around. "T-thank you Kakashi." He said. As we looked around for the other enemies I spotted (y/n) sneaking into the enemy's hideout. 'Stupid!' But before I could go help her my left eye was sliced by something. 'What the hell?!' I felt a burning sensation in and around my left eye. "Shit." I crouched down and Obito stood before me. "Are you alright Kakashi?" I nodded. Suddenly Obito turned around, a kunai pointing outward. Where I thought there was no one a man appeared. We knocked him out and afterwards Obito wrapped up my wound. "Let's go."
Your POV
As you walked into the hideout of the enemy you saw a man putting a genjutsu on Rin. You hid behind a boulder and hid your chakra signature. 'Get Rin out of here as soon as possible.' You waited for the man to walk away. As soon as he did you sprinted towards Rin. As you channeled chakra into Rin, you didn't notice that the man had returned but when you did it was too late. As something hit your head, everything went black.
Kakashi's POV
We ran into the hideout and saw Rin sitting on the other side of the cave. 'Where is (y/n)?!' As I looked around better I saw a figure lying besides Rin. Blood pooling around them. 'Oh no, (y/n)!' I looked at Obito and he realized it too.
We ran towards them, jumping over the enemy. As Obito woke Rin and grabbed (y/n) I fought off the enemy. We ran towards the exit together but a boulder fell and we were trapped. 'An opening in the roof!' The earth shook and suddenly Obito dropped (y/n) and ran to me. He grabbed me and then threw me to the side. I heard a loud bang. "Obito!" I heard Rin shout. (Y/n) started stirring awake but when she opened her eyes she shouted. "Obito!!" I turned around, finally facing the truth. I saw a giant boulder laying on Obito. I ran towards it and started pushing. "This can't happen." I whispered to myself as tears fell down my face. "Ka-kakashi. Y-you don't have to try." I heard Obito say. "B-but..." I tried convincing myself that it was still possible to save Obito. "I didn't give you a present yet, did I?" Obito said. "That doesn't matter now Obito!" I shouted. "I'll give you my sharingan." He said. Rin walked towards us and started the transplantation.
After that Obito told us to go and whispered to me. "Promise you protect Rin." I nodded and Rin, (y/n) and I escaped. When we heard another boulder fall we knew that Obito was dead. An enemy appeared before me and tried hitting me. I dodged swiftly and got out my sword. "You killed my friend!" I yelled as I ran at him. Out of his sleeves came two blades. I slammed down my sword on it but it broke. I jumped back and did a few hand signs. 'Monkey, dragon, rat, bird, ox, serpent, dog, tiger and finally monkey.' I felt my chakra concentrate itself in my hand. "Chidori!" I yelled. I pierced the enemy's heart. Dead. As the other enemy tried attacking me, Minato-sensei appeared and took him out. "Where is Obito?" He asked. I looked down and answered. "Dead."
