Your POV
As the two of you started eating you were shocked that Kakashi wasn't bothered that you saw his face. 'Well that's odd.' You thought. "It's delicious." He exclaimed. You smiled at his reaction. "I'm glad you like it." You said. That was the first genuine smile in years. His eyes widened ever so slightly but you didn't notice.
As the two of you continued eating you talked about the new team and such. "So we'll work under Minato-sensei directly?" You asked Kakashi. He nodded. "Let's just make sure that we look out for each other okey?" He said. You nodded in agreement. "Pinky promise?" He said. "Pinky promise." You said as you hooked your pinky finger into his.
When you finished eating the two of you started doing the dishes. After you finished that the two of you decided that it was about time you went to sleep. So when you led Kakashi out of the house the two of you stopped at the door. As you stared in each other's eyes he leaned in, but when he realized what he was doing he stopped. "Sorry (y/n), I didn't mean to." He said as he blushed furiously and walked away. You stared at him as he walked away. "See you tomorrow Kakabaka." You whispered to yourself.
Right after Kakashi left you went to your room and changed. You then walked to your bathroom and brushed your teeth. After that you went to sleep, feeling happy for the first time in years.

~time skip to the next morning~

You woke to the sound of your alarm clock. It was four in the morning so you had about forty-five minutes to get ready. You took a quick shower and got dressed into your new ANBU uniform. When it was quarter before five you left your house and walked towards the training grounds. You knew for sure that you'd be early because you live on the outskirts of the village and the training grounds are only five minutes away.

As you arrived you saw that Kakashi was there already. "Early as always, ay, Kakabaka." You said. He growled at the nickname. "Please don't call me that (y/n)." He said. "Oh Kakabaka uses the word 'please'? Since when?" You joked. "I give up." He said as he threw his hands in the air. You gave him a wink and you saw his blush creep from under his mask. When you wanted to say something you heard footsteps from behind you. "Good morning Kakashi, (y/n)." You heard Kenji say from behind you. You turned around and bowed. "Good morning Kenji-san." You and Kakashi said at the same time. "You don't have to be so formal, you know." He said and letting out an awkward laugh. You straightened your back. "I'll keep that in mind." You said. "As you might've expected, the two of you are going to take a test to see whether or not you are fit to be an ANBU. You will have to work together to take out all of your other team members. I've reviewed your skills and you should be capable to do that." He said. Your eyes widened and you looked at Kakashi who nodded. "All right. Let's do this shit." You said.
