For some odd reason, Antonio couldn't stop thinking about Nadirah. She was just so beautiful, but he knew since she'd seen him with Keisha it wouldn't be easy to just ask her out.
Keisha Smart was a 12 year old, fast little girl who attracted boys because of her body. She never had too many female friends because she always thought she was better than them.
As he pondered about the situation, he started thinking about how he didn't even know Nadirah. He just wanted to get his mind off her.
The next day, Nadirah woke up and started getting ready for school, but she heard lots of commotion coming from downstairs.
"You never want to take care of your kids" her mother said
"I'm not dealing with this today woman" her father said
Nadirah went downstairs to figure out what was going on.
"Is everything oka-" she was cut off
"Nadirah don't you think your father is acting selfish" her mother asked.
"I don't know what's going on" she said.
"You never know what's fucking going on" she said "I really should've aborted you when I had the chance" she mumbled the last part
Nadirah was hurt by the words that left her mother's mouth, but she just acted as if she didn't hear them. Nadirah's mother had her when she was only 15 and she always told Nadirah how she had risked everything for her.
"I'm going to school now" Nadirah ended the conversation there and went off to school
Antonio was standing at his locker when he seen Nadirah coming down the hallway. He was about to approach her when Keisha stopped in front of him and kissed him. He knew Nadirah saw it all happen because where it happened she was staring in his direction.
"What the fuck Keisha" Antonio said pushing her off him
"Baby stop playing and kiss me" she said.
"Keisha stop playing you know wassup with us and it ain't nun like that"
"Man whatever I don't got time for you to be playing" Keisha said waving him off "Come talk at me later though."
Keisha saw Nadirah looking and smirked.
"Oh hi you're Netherlands right?"
"Nadirah actually"
"Oh I wish I cared" Keisha said laughing "See you later boo"
"Wassup wit your girlfriend?" Nadirah asked
"That's not my girl" Antonio said "and I would never want her to be she's a hoe"
"So why'd you kiss her?" she asked
"I didn't she kissed me and I pushed her off of me as you probably already know since you were staring" Antonio laughed saying the last part
"I wasn't staring I was contemplating if I wanted to talk to you or not" she said with a slight attitude.
"Chill I was just messing wit you ma but I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime" Nadirah asked
"Only if my best friend can come" she said sneakily
"Who's your best friend" Antonio asked with a raised eyebrow
"Leonardo duh silly" she said with a small laugh
"I guess I can work something out meet me after school" Antonio said licking his lips and walking away
After school, Nadirah screamed and jumped on LA's back.
"Bestieeeee" she yelled
"Damn where my hug at" Antonio asked jealously
"Nigga don't be selfish I haven't seen my best friend all day" LA said
"Well call me when y'all done having y'all quality time" Antonio said with an attitude about to walk away
"Wait" Nadirah said getting off of LA's back "don't be like that I got love for you too" she said hugging Antonio giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Yeah ight what y'all trynna do tho" Antonio asked
"Lets go to the park" Nadirah suggested
On their way to the park, they talked and laughed. But then they heard gun shots ringing off as they were walking to the benches.
"Somebody call 911, somebody help" Nadirah screamed loudly as LA dialed 911
Nadirah and LA weren't allowed to ride with Antonio to the hospital, so they walked.
"What if I didn't suggest us going to the park it wouldn't have happened it's all my fault" Nadirah said blaming herself
"It's not your fault Dirah stop beating yourself up about it I'm pretty sure he'll be fine he's a fighter" said LA trying to cheer Nadirah up
"I hope so" Nadirah said trying to convince herself
