I didn't want to wake up from my endless sleep, but my eyes opened up anyways in the end. I looked up to see Seamus looking down at me with soft eyes, making me smile. "Hey." I said.

"Sup, my parents came home a while ago." Seamus spoke. I jumped up, seeing that they weren't in the room.

"You could have woken me up!" I exclaimed.

"But you looked peaceful and exhausted, I didn't want to wake you." Seamus reasoned.

"Should I go now? Wait, what time is it?" I asked, trying to find a clock to check the time with.

"7:50." Seamus answered for me, making me sigh.

"I need to go then." I insisted, running into the kitchen. Unfortunately, Seamus' parents were in there talking, turning around to see me with their cold stares.

Seamus' mother came up to me and felt my cheeks, giving out a smile as she did so. "Ah, you must be that girl Seamus was with earlier." She said, making me turn red within a second.

"Yeah. I'm Elle Carson," I stuck my hand out, "Nice to meet you."

Seamus' dad gladly took my hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you, Elle." he said.

"Nice to meet you two as well." I said, taking my bag. "I would love to talk more, but I have to really go. My aunt is worried about where I am." I said.

"Alright, hope we see you here more often." Seamus' mom sang.

"Mom!" I heard Seamus exclaim as he came to show me the door. He sighed as we got to the door. "Sorry about my parents."

"It's ok they're pretty cool, so far." I joked about the last part, making Seamus pout.

His frown quickly flipped back to a smile. "I placed my phone number on your phone. Text me anytime, friend."

Hearing that from his mouth made me happy, yet left a small mark on my heart. Fuck it I'm weird anyways.

"Yeah, will I see you tomorrow?" I asked.

He nodded. "Yeah, see ya."

I ran off, actually knowing my way to my house from here. I got to my house just as it went dark outside. I saw Aunt Harley's truck parked outside, great. I never checked if she said it was ok or not since I forgot to do so after the whole event at lunch.

"Hey Aunt-"

"Where the hell were you?" She interrupted me.

"I texted you...." I whispered.

"Yeah, but you said you would be back hours ago!"

"I'm sorry! I fell asleep and we lost track of time!" I placed my hands up in surrender to my aunt, making we raise an eyebrow.

"You slept AT A BOY'S HOUSE?!" Aunt Harley screamed, making me jump.

"We didn't do anything! Only I fell asleep anyways!" I hollered.

"Ok, you aren't in trouble. Just text me more ok?" Wow, I forgot how much of a pushover my aunt could be.

"Ok. I'll be in my-"

"What the hell is wrong with your eye and face?" Shit, she saw my injuries.

"It's nothing." I blankly answered her, turning my face away from her.

"Nothing my fucking ass. Come here." Aunt Harley commanded me. I sighed, walking over to her in a rush. She examined my whole body, making me wince at every bruise. "Did the guy you hung out with hit you?"

"No no no! He actually saved me from the guy who did so. The guy's punishment was detention though." I reasoned with my aunt, making her sigh in stress.

"You do go to a shit school anyways." She finally spoke up. "Now go to bed, I bet you need it."

"Thanks for caring." I quietly said, not moving until a moment later. I went up stairs, a single tear left my eye as I thought how happy I was to have my aunt. I smiled as I sat down on my bed, feeling that my eye was getting better. I leaned back, my head hitting my bed as the sounds of the outside world lulled me to sleep.
