His Words, Her Pain

Everyone went silent, finally seeing the girl that they despised walk into the cafeteria: Me. I know they all want me dead, it was obvious upon their faces. Some booed at me as I got my lunch on the tray. I saw Seamus wave at me, giving the last pinch of hope to hold on to.

I walked over to him, slightly smiling at every step I took. Seamus greeted me with a bigger smile as we went to sit where Eddie was. His friends looked, well, friendly in my opinion. At least they're not James or Aleks. "Hey Seamus and Elle." Eddie giggled as we sat down next to him.

"Wait Elle, as in Elle Carson?!" One of the guys exclaimed, wearing a red cap.

"This can't be real!" Another guy exclaimed.

"I thought she-she was-" The last one stumbled to say, a Canadian accent stuck within his words.

"Dead, I made myself think that as well." I spoke up, making all three men grow pale. "Look, it's complicated to where I don't even know myself! That is all I have to say."

It was silent for a moment, until Eddie coughed. "Aren't you idiots going to introduce yourselves?" He said to his friends, who blushed at their mistake.

"Nick."

"Jordan." The one with the red cap said.

"Steven." The Canadian said.

"Where's Dan?" Eddie asked Nick, who just shrugged.

"Needed to talk to Jakey about something if I remember." Nick answered, "But he'll flip if he sees Elle here."

"Why is that?" I questioned Nick.

"He gets nervous around girls, it's just his thing." Jordan responded for him, making everyone chuckle.

"Hey, so I can remember you guys easier, I'm giving you nicknames." I announced. I pointed to Nick, "You look like a Sp00n."

"And your a fork." He retorted.

"Thanks." I bluntly said back. I pointed to Jordan next, "I don't really have one for you, but I can remember you from your hat!" I said, making his small frown widen to a smile. I quickly pointed to Steven, "And Ze."

"Cool! I like it!" Ze sang, making Eddie chuckle and blush. Did Eddie? No he couldn't be.

"I like all of them too." Seamus replied. "Do you have a nickname for me?"

I looked into his eyes, thinking of nothing but stuff related to a donkey's ass. "Smart ass." I snickered to say, making Seamus frown.

"And the reward for best nicknames is Elle." He sarcastically responded, making me laugh out loud. I quickly stopped, covering my mouth and blushing as all five guys looked at me.

"Oh, I'm, um." I said, stumbling in what I wanted to say.

"It's ok, your laugh wasn't bad. It sounded, nice." Jordan reassured me. We continue to eat lunch in peace, with the guys telling me about themselves. Sp00n and Jordan had to leave because they got a text message from Dan. Ze followed them, with Eddie not far behind; only leaving me and Seamus.

It was quiet as we both ate. I just had nothing to say to him. "Hey want to come over after school since we get off at the same bus stop?" Seamus asked me.

I turned to him to see he was blushing, making me smile like a dork. "Sure, that sounds nice." I said, grabbing my phone so I can text Aunt Harley that I will be gone after school. I was too much into waiting for my aunt's reply to see that someone came up to me.

"Hey bitch what are you doing, sexting?" James sneered, leaning his face towards mine.

"What do you want now?" I sighed, making him snicker.
