I woke up slowly this morning, unaware of my surroundings at the moment. I look to see a familiar ceiling, just not one that belongs to my room.
"Morning Elle." Eddie practically made me jump, and would've fallen out of the bed if he wasn't hugging me.
"Hi." I said shyly.
Eddie giggled. "Did you sleep well?" He asked me.
I nodded. "Yeah, I'm just wondering why I am in the same bed as you. Did we do anything last night?"
Eddie laughed extremely hard. "No! Immortals can't even do anything with each other anyways! We can only date, really."
"Oh." I felt stupid for asking now.
Eddie giggled again. "But I am here with you cause I did place you on my bed last night. So, we did technically sleep in the same bed together, just nothing big happened."
"Ok." I replied. There was a silent pause before I spoke again. "So, today is the big day, huh?"
Eddie sighed. "Yup, you have to pick today."
"I know." I said. "Just, what would I do in order to become Immortal?"
Eddie tensed up a bit. I guess he forgot to ask for a reason. "You, um, how do I say this? You have to bond, make a connection."
"But I already have a connection with the both of them." I said.
"That's not what I meant, what I meant is." Eddie paused. "You have to have a strong bond, one made only by a special process."
I raised an eyebrow. "What special process?" Eddie coughed and muttered something under his breath, but I couldn't hear. "What was that? I didn't hear you."
Eddie sighed again. "Through intercourse."
Oh, shit. I now see why Eddie kept that so secret from me. I would've definitely reacted badly if he told me before now. "Oh, well then." I finally said loud.
"Yeah." Eddie grunted and let go of me, getting up himself. His wings for some reason were visible, something that looked odd to see while he was only in boxers.
"Wow, nice style you got there." I joked. "Wings and boxers look so stylish."
Eddie giggled. "Oh shut up."
I laughed along. "I wonder if the others are up."
Eddie pulled on a shirt over his wings, making them disappear in the air. "I do too, let's go check."
We both walk down the hall, down the stairs, and into the Eddie's living room. Everyone is asleep, but the smell of coffee being made lingers from the kitchen. "Wow, who made coffee and then fell asleep afterwards?" Eddie said aloud.
"Me." Seamus mumbled as he sat up from his spot on the floor. "I just wanted to rest some more but I guess I can be awake now."
"And good morning to you too." I said before going into the kitchen and poring myself a cup of coffee. Bitter, not my taste but I like it anyways. I still added a ton of sugar, which Kevin laughed at while he grabbed his own coffee.
"You ready for graduation today?" Kevin spoke up when I got my coffee to a bearable taste.
I nodded. "Yeah, but not really at the same time."
Kevin walked back into the living room with me, seeing Eddie trying to wake up Natalie. "Natalie! We have graduation today!"
She groaned and rolled over, her back now towards everyone. "Not now mom, five minutes."
"Five minutes and I'll be dragging you to your house." Eddie muttered.
I laughed along with Kevin and Seamus about how the two act like little kids when together. "Wow, I wonder if the pancakes I made will wake her up."
Natalie's head shot up quickly. "Pancakes?!" She exclaimed. I nodded and pointed to the kitchen, which made Natalie dash over there. "HEY! There are no pancakes on the table!"
I chuckled. "I know, I just said that to get you up."
Eddie's jaw was to the floor while Natalie stomped her way in here. "She lied to me." She muttered when she sat back down on the couch again. "Wait, I smell coffee." Natalie got back up and went into the kitchen again to grab her coffee.
"How the hell did you do that?" Eddie asked me, flabbergasted at how easy it was for me to wake Natalie up.
"Magic, you have to know what a girl wants in the morning. And that usually is food." I said before grabbing my phone off the table. "My aunt will be here to pick me up in an hour and will take me to graduation herself." I said when I read her texts.
"So I don't have I drive you there?" Seamus asked while smirking.
I rolled my eyes playfully. "I know how to drive, I just don't have a car."
"Well, lets just enjoy our graduation when it comes around!" Eddie sang when Natalie finally came back into the room.
-----Time Skip-----
Colors of flowers were scattered all over the field, crowds of happy parents, friends, and family were cheering at the bleachers, and a stage was set in front of me, people handing out a small scroll of paper that would make students finally be able to escape high school. All of this was part of the definition of a high school graduation, and boy how long I have been waiting for this day to come.
And how I have waited for it to never appear.
I am one of the first few people to get their diploma, having the last name of Carson helps with that. But Eddie does go before me because Cardona is before Carson cause of its spelling. I wish I could look at Seamus, but being so far back in the O's it's hard to pinpoint him out.
I needed to talk to him after this, maybe we can hang out at the huge graduation party after all of this. Its at the warehouse again, but there was a promise to never drag race again after what happened with Aleks.
"That concludes our graduation ceremony for the class of 2014!" The principal said. We all threw our caps in cheer, mixing our school colors into the air. I am finally out of school, thank god, but now I have to go into love.
A/N: Ok, so the last chapter is next. Then a preview of the sequel! Yay! :D
