[Officially, Christina, I declare that Clique is my theme song. I know I'm a scrawny white boy who is a goddess and assassin who raps but it's just who I am. I am NOT weird.]

After 2 hours of 60 m.p.h driving, we pulled up to the Brooklyn House. I thought my driving was pretty good but Walt took two steps out of the car and then threw up on some metal scraps.

"Agreed," Christina moaned as she got out of the car and had to steady herself on the wall of the Nome, "From now on, Carter drives."

I didn't really care about that because ain't no damn way Carter will ever drive my Impala. I grabbed Christina's hand and led her wobbly inside. Surprisingly enough, when they saw the others in almost physical pain from my driving, they kept their distance. We gathered around the table on the terrace to talk.

"Right about now, we need a miracle plan," Walt added, "There is no way of knowing where Kamehea is and now he's got Setne. Plus, Setne can't die. Again."

I considered that for a moment, "We need time. If he wants to do anything rash, he'll do it when he thinks he can get us. I think Walt was right; Kamehea wants to capture us, but his son does his dirty work...got to admit he's got wit going for him."

"By having his son do everything for him? That seems kind of weak to me," Carter pointed out.

"No, he's biding his time. Building up his army. But where? I don't know. Likely somewhere he thinks nobody will look," I said, furrowing my brow. Don't you just hate it when the enemy is smart?

"We need time to think. We'll meet back here at dinner," Carter suggested and we all nodded in agreement except Sadie who punched Carter in the arm.

"Brother Dear, do you even remember what night it is?" She said angrily.

"Wha-? Oh," He shook his head, "Sadie, do you remember the last time we went to a school dance? Shu and Anubis showed up and almost killed everybody. We can't."

Sadie shook her head and laughed, "Hey, birdbrain, think about what Jake just said. Kamehea won't attack until he sees us exposed. It's perfect!"

"That's great!" I exclaimed. Ideas started forming in my head at rapid-fire speed, "Okay, we can have you guys mingling with the mortals. With luck, I'll be able to spot him from the roof and-"

"Not so fast, cat boy," Sadie said with a smirk, "You're dancing too-"

"No," I said gripping the table.

"I command it," She said, putting her feet up on the table, "You'll dance with Christina."

Both of us protested at the exact same time but Sadie pulled out her wand and silenced the two of us.

"Everyone go get dressed, we meet back here in an hour," Sadie said, then pointed at me, "If you come down wearing your usual outfit, I'll take your own gun and shoot you. Be fancy."

I groaned.

45 minutes [Not an hour, because I'm awesome] I joined the others on the terrace. I had on a button up plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. But, that was the only part of me that wasn't normal, because otherwise I had jeans and sneakers on. Tactical, not practical.

Walt looked at me, "Okay, see Sadie? He's wearing something like it too!" Walt had almost the same things I had on except he had on a white shirt and he actually looked not half-bad.

"Where's Christina?" I asked Sadie instantly as I stood next to her at the table. Apparently, we were kind of bringing weapons, because she stored her wand and staff in the duat.

It didn't take long to find out. The door opened and BAM! I was like 'Woah.' Christina looked awesome. She had on a pretty blue dress that fit to her perfectly and fancier shoes then my sneakers. Her hair was in cute curls and she looked mind-blowing. When she stood next to me, I smelled a hint of vanilla perfume which complimented her quite nicely. I looked at Walt who looked like he was going to laugh and my face said, 'If your girlfriend did this I will skin you.' He grinned and shrugged.

"Alright," Carter said as he straightened his tie, "Try to mingle with the mortals a bit. Hopefully, Kamehea will attack us because we're out in the open. But, be ready for anything."

As we got in the Impala, Sadie nuged me and said, "Christina and I picked out that dress for you. Make her happy or I'll bloody kill you."
