The Plan ~ Part II

I quickly pulled out my phone to text Jaz.

Text:

Tay: I'm in your driveway

Jaz: oh ok cool how did u get here

Tay: walked

Jaz: what??!!

Tay: my parents aren't home

Jaz: where are they???

Tay: at ur house

Jaz: what??? When did they get here???

Tay: idk but how am I supposed to come inside

Jaz: come to the basement door. I'll unlock it for you

Tay: okay

Then I heard the front door open. Shit time to go!!! I grabbed all my bags. Damn the struggle was so real tryna carry three bags at once. I was running to the basement hoping no one heard me. I opened the door and ran inside.

Tay: guys I'm here!!

Kiki: Tay Tay!!!!

Mo: hey boo!!!!

Jaz: you made it

Tay: yea someone was coming outside

Then we heard someone walking down the stairs.

Mo: Tay hide!!

I ran into the bathroom. Shit I forgot my stuff.

Kiki's POV

My mom came downstairs with Tay's mom. Why is she here??? The plan is gonna have to start a lot earlier than planned.

Mom: hi girls!!

Us except Tay: hi!!!!

Mom: so are y'all having fun

Plan A: Pretend to be sad about Tay. Starting,,,,now!

Jaz: not really

Mo: I can't believe we're gonna be away from our best friend for six months

Tay's mom: ohh it's okay I'm sure Tay will have plenty of other friends while y'all are gone

Ok that plan backfired. Plan B: get my parents to convince Tay to go on tour.

Jaz: mommy I think it's time for the family discussion you planned tonight *referring to Tay parents and my parents*

Mom: oh yea. We'll just go back upstairs

Kiki: okay!!

Mom: the pizza, wings, and breadsticks should be on its way here

Mo: yessss food!!!

Then they went back upstairs.

Kiki: TAYYY!!!

She came out of the bathroom.

Tay: that was close

Mo: I'm surprised she didn't see your bags

Tay: she probably did but didn't say anything

20 minutes later

My mom came back down with the food.

Mom: Tay???

Tay: ummm

Mom: how did u get here???

Tay: I-I-I walked here

Mom: what?!

My mom already knows that she's here, she's just pretending. Then my dad and BOTH of Tay's parents came down. The plan is going well.

Tay's mom: Taylor what are you doing here???

Tay's dad: and you better talk to us this time???

Tay: I wanted to come to this sleepover, so I was gonna ask but y'all left me at home by myself without telling me. That made me upset so I walked here

Tay's mom: you should've called us

Tay: I did neither of you answered!!

Tay's mom: I never got ur call

Tay: well I called both of you

Kiki: who's hungry I know I am!!!

I was trying to get rid of the awkwardness in the air.

Mom: Kiki hunny now's not a good time

Tay's mom: Tay get your stuff we're leaving

Jaz: she can't stay??

Tay's mom: no she's grounded for two months

EVERYONE except Tay's parents: WHAT?!?!

Kiki: two months???

This was not what we expected. The plan failed. :(

Tay: well I guess this is the last time I'll see you guys for the next six months

Jaz: I wish it wasn't

We all did a group hug.

Mo: don't worry Tay you're not gonna be alone

Tay: why

Mo: cuz I already told you if you're not going I'm not going

Kiki: we're a team remember??

Tay's mom: let's go Taylor

Then her and her parents left.

Kiki: mom,,, dad,,, I thought y'all talked to them

Dad: we did keek but they still wouldn't let her go

Jaz: but why???

Mom: they were saying because she's an only child. And once she leaves, they're by themselves

Mo: oh yea I have two sisters and two brothers

Jaz: yea and we have Laurynn

Laurynn is our little sister. She's just not in the story.

Mo: but yea and Tay is eventually gonna leave for college

Mom: yess but they feel it's too early for her to leave

Jaz: seriously

Dad: but look on the bright side. At least y'all have the opportunity to go

Kiki: yea but Tay isn't going

Mom: I'm sorry girls we tried

Then they went back upstairs.

Tay's POV

As soon as I got home I went straight to my room. I was so done with my parents. I was so excited to go on tour but then my parents had to ruin it.
