Morty and I had fallen asleep for a while after that, both physically exhausted. When I woke up, Morty was still asleep, snoring softly.
I sat up and leaned over, pressing my lips firmly against his and feeling him slowly respond, his arms lazily draping around my neck momentarily. I pulled away and found myself lost in the sea of green, happily staring back up at me.
"Best Christmas gift ever." Morty giggled and sat up, looking around for a moment before finding his clothes and pulling them on. He didn't bother wearing a shirt, waiting for me to get dressed as well. I noticed he was walking a little funny and laughed, smacking his ass as I passed. He let out a yippish sound and jumped away, rubbing his bum. I pulled my clothes back on and walked over to Morty, hugging him from behind, "Maybe next time you be daddy?" He turned back and gave me a wide-eyed stare before I laughed, dragging him downstairs.
Summer was the only one who would actually look either of us in the eye. "You two absolutely killed mom and dad." Morty looked absolutely petrified while I laughed, walking through the living room and standing in front of Beth and Jerry. "Yea, ok, keep eugh looking away." I walked away and placed an arm over Morty's shoulder, "What do you wanna do now?"
He shrugged, looking at the time on the microwave, "I dunno. We still have some time left before dinner, but I don't think it's really anything but leftovers from last night. Wanna go outside?" Morty peered through the window, seeing that the snow had stopped falling and several feet had piled up. I shrugged, looking outside momentarily, "S-Sure."
Morty ran and got ready to go outside. I was fine just going out in my usual attire. We made our way outside, Morty running and grabbing a box before announcing that we were bringing back the snowman. It didn't take very long to build it, easily constructing what we deemed the perfect snowman.
"Nice." Morty peered up at me, "You know, I never actually thought I would get this."
I pulled him against me, rubbing my hand up and down his arm, "I'm so-sorry I eugh put you through that. I just never really understood how that... this kind of relationship could work." Morty turned his body to look up at me, "I wondered that too, but never really too much. I really enjoyed today. And the presents were wonderful, daddy." Morty winked before he ran off, grabbing a handful of snow and whipping it at me. I growled and started throwing some back, laughing as I hit him repeatedly and he fell to the ground, giggling.
"Come on, le-lets go back inside and get some eugh cocoa or something. You-You're gonna freeze to death." I held my hand down to him, an effort to help him up, but he wound up yanking me down. I landed on top of him and he placed his hands on my waist. "I love you, Rick."
I felt my face heat up, "I, uh... I l-love you too, Mo-Morty." He smiled and sat up, pulling me down and kissing me. I felt really vulnerable in this moment, unsure what to do. I settled on going with the flow, kissing back until he pulled away.
"Let's go get some of that cocoa." We both wandered in and Morty dug around, finding the cocoa mix and started to boil some water.
"Hey, you two, mom and dad wanted me to tell you that they're going out for tonight." Morty and I spun around to see Beth and Jerry walking out of the house, keeping their heads down. We both laughed and waved at their retreating figures. "That's honestly great." Morty wiped a tear from his eye and pulled down two glasses, "Summer, do you want some cocoa?"
She shook her head, "Nah, I'm gonna go watch tv. I might fall asleep on the couch, I don't know." Morty smiled and went to mixing the drinks, "Ok."
"Here, Rick." He set my mug in front of me and I smiled, pulling him down and kissing his forehead, "Thanks, baby." Morty's face flushed when I'd said this and he turned away, giggling. "I can't get over that, sorry. I love it." He smiled at me and sipped at his drink.
Smiling evilly, he set his cup down and moved closer. "Hey, Rick?" I gave a small 'hmm', looking over to see him. "I burned my tongue. Will you kiss it better?"
I chuckled, setting my mug down and pulling him closer, "Any time."
