Hey guys I bet you thought I was dead, but here I am! It's just a short one but meh Melissa was peer pressuring me 😂

Destiny POV

I woke up suddenly and felt the bed next to me. Piero was gone and I panicked. Was it a dream?! I gasped in horror. Was he really dead?! My phone dinged and I grabbed it off the nightstand. Snapchat?! Nobody messages me on Snapchat! I swiped up the screen and waited forever for the message to load. From Piero? What?!

"Good morning beautiful. Yes, I'm still alive even though I am dream material. I can't be there now, but I am alive and safe."

"When will I see you again?" I typed furiously.

"When the time comes."

When would that be?! I groaned and suddenly remembered. I have to tell Eleonora! She'll be so happy! I sprinted down the stairs and found her in the kitchen.

"Mrs. Barone! I have good news! Piero is alive!!"

She stared to cry and came over to hug me.

"Oh honey, it's okay. It's a hard time for all of us-"

"No, really, he's alive! I saw him last night!"

She held my hands in hers.

"Don't worry, well get through this together. Denial is always the hardest stage."

"But really-"

"I'm sorry Destiny, but you can't bring somebody back after they're already gone."

She let go of my hands.

"He is! He even messaged me again this morning! I'll show you." I pulled out my phone and went into my Snapchat, but when I opened the message, it was already gone. "Uh, it was here! I hate Snapchat! The message disappears once you open it the first time!"

She shook her head. "Mi dispiace, but it just can't be that way anymore. He's gone, for real this time."

She continued to cut fruit, silently, and I just wandered down the hall and was surprised to find a clown, an actual clown, staring through the window that gave a view of the front yard. He was just there, staring right at me, not moving.
