(boys POV)

(Levi)

"You're going to kill him aren't you?" Amy asked as she slithered into the seat opposite Levi.

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh you can fool the rest but I know you Leviathan." His name rolled off her tongue. "They all think that you didn't go through with the deed as a way to stick it to Cayn but that's not the case, is it?" Amy paused, waiting for a reply. Levi didn't say anything.

"You've got them all fooled, don't you? They've got no idea you actually love her. You forget that I know what Lilith made you promise...I know who you are Leviathan."

A shudder went through Levi as she spoke his name for a second time. "Amy you don't know a thing."

"Oh no? If you didn't love Lilly than why would you stop yourself from having the ultimate power... to rule both worlds and destroy the Order? No, no, you care for her much more than either of them suspect. That's why you ran away. You're afraid that if you stuck around you would end up hurting her because you and Lilly are the same...those you love tend to die." There was a certain hint of malice in her tone which Levi tried to ignore. She sounded like Amy but there was something different, as though she had lost the plot. He wondered if she was going having a psychotic meltdown again.

"I went because Cayn is an asshole."

Amy laughed. "Yes, that to but deep down you went to protect her, only it didn't work Leviathan...the sharks are circling and you know that."

"Will you stop using my full name, you know how much I hate it," he hissed.

"Oh dear, did I strike a nerve?" Her face flashed mock surprise. Levi's eyes narrowed, crazy Amy was back and that was never a good sign.

"No."

"Really?" she teased.
"Amy I don't want to play games. If you think all of this, why aren't you running off to Cayn and telling him? Are you two having another fight?"

This time it was Amy's turn to glare at Levi. "I too want him dead. He and that wretched Cursed One, should both be sent to a permanent grave." She hissed.

"Did you know he hasn't touched me, not since the night Lilly went off at him? You are not the only one he blames for her refusal. I am nothing to him and so it shall be. Kill Cayn for all I care but let me help, let me seek my revenge." She pleaded, grabbing the knife Levi was going to use to cut an apple and twisting it's blade into the wood of the table.

"Amy, I'm not going to kill Cayn," he said knowing it wasn't a lie therefore she couldn't sniff out the deceit. After all, deceiving people was her forte. She could tell when people, human or non-human, were hiding something, it fed her, giving her strength. It was also the reason Levi chose not to lie to her. Others didn't care if she knew they were lying as long as Amy didn't know the truth. It was a refreshing taste for her to have someone who didn't lie. Secretly, she loved it and enjoyed spending time with Levi due to this.

"No... you're not. He will die nonetheless."

"Most likely." Levi shrugged. "There are a lot of people who would enjoy a change in ruler."

"Hmm...I know you are not lying but there is something, a faint taste of deceit. I just can't be sure what it is your hiding."

"Amy it has been a great many centuries since I deceived you, know that it is you I tell the truth to...or I say nothing at all." He picked up her hand and kissed it. Amy let out an irrational laugh, slapping his shoulder playfully.
