(boys POV)
Michael looked at the shell of a man who had used to be one his best killers. Gabriel had been rewarded for his dedication to Order by being welcomed back home, and yet now he was lost. There was no look of predator in his eyes like there used to be, the spark was lost all because of a bitch in heat. It was a pathetic loss to the Order. Michael loathed the thought that Gabriel had succumbed to her charms of deceit. Gabriel...The Messenger, taken down by his half cast daughter truly was ironic considering Michael wanted her dead. His blood pressure rose with the betrayal of the man he considered a son. Lilly was worse than a mistake to him...she was a fail experiment which haunted him day and night. When he thought about her, there was no fatherly love only the desire to watch her life essence slip away as he delivered her a true death. Worse still he had no idea how Gabriel had found his way into her deadly clutches. That was the one thing, which ate at his soul.
Michael needed to find a way to make Gabriel abhorred her. Make him see the true evilness, which oozed from her vile existence. Only then would Michael have his elite killer back. All he needed was something to use against that atrocity. Quietly, Michael pulled out his phone and dialled Cayn's number.
"Hello," Cayn answered after the second ring. H
"Have you found her?" Michael barked.
"Well hello to you to and no, I haven't. I am guessing you haven't either."
"No, but I do have a little piece of information for you." Michael paused to allow his words to sink in. "Did you know she had fallen in love with someone on our side. They are in love. Doesn't that make things interesting?"
Cayn let out a low hiss as he cursed the world. "Hmm...so she is in love with one from each team then...I am, however, guessing they aren't together as Levi has been gone for three weeks now and I am fairly sure he is with her." Cayn was happy to drop the bombshell on Michael.
"No they aren't, but do you believe the girl and Levi are hiding together?"
"That would be my assumption," he answered Michael choosing to omit the fact that he had tortured Amy, killing her over and over again before bringing her back only to have her spill everything she knew. He knew he had caused her mental damage but that was no great loss. She would recover over time, give or take a century, and she would be back to normal.
"So what are we going to do now?"
"Find them, kill Levi and as for your daughter, well we shall see," Cayn answered.
"Don't call her that," Michael roared.
"Why? After all she is part of your flesh. Pretty sure that makes her your daughter." Cayn mocked enjoying every minute of it.
"She was a mistake." Michael hung up the phone mad. Michael was furious but he couldn't allow those emotions to interfere with his work.
The phone call had proved to be very interesting... very interesting indeed. Maybe, just maybe, he could use it to win Gabriel over, to regain the killer he once had. Michael walked back into the house and down to the room where Gabriel was sitting at a desk looking over a map.
"Any luck ?" he asked knowing the answer.
"No not yet but it hasn't been that long." Gabriel replied as he looked over the map.
"Hmm, well considering her Fallen lover is with her right now, it might take us a while to locate her." Michael casually added watching as Gabriel stiffen. Michael fought to hide a smile, Gabriel knew of her other lover...interesting.
