"Are you ready to say goodbye?" Levi asked as we neared the door of the gym. I wanted to tell him no. I wanted to beg him to change his mind but we both knew that wouldn't happen, so with a deep breath I nodded and we took those last few steps towards the door.

"Everything will be all right, I'll make sure of it." He whispered as he kissed the top of my head. I couldn't help but smile at him. Everything he had done for me seemed to have melted the ice around my heart.

We walked through the doors, the guys all shouted "bon voyage" at us. There was a large table against the wall that held sandwiches and muffins, all of which seemed store brought. I didn't mind though, I was hungry. In my yoga pants and loose fitting shirt it was still hard to tell I was pregnant, still, I was careful. We meant to tell the guys today and I was wary as to how they would take the news. Levi let go of my hand to talk to some of the guys, but I had a feeling that he was giving me and Mike some space to chat in private.

"Are you sure you have to go?" Mike asked for the hundredth time since I told him we had to go.

I groaned unintentionally. "Mike, I don't want to leave but if I stay then I'll cause trouble and you already warned me about being in trouble."

"That was before you became one of us. Lilly, you have to talk to me. Tell me what's going on, don't you owe me that?"

I motioned for us to walk into Mike's office. He was right, after everything he had done, I owed him the truth. The issue was what truth to tell. Would he believe me about the Fallen and the Order or would he think me crazy? Maybe it was easier to go with the crazy ex-version but I wasn't sure. Mike had become like family to me and I didn't want to see him get hurt because of me.

"Well out with it." He said as he perched his butt on the corner of his desk, folding his arms. Not since I was a junior in school had I felt as though I had been caught red-handed doing something bad.

"My Ex wants to kill me," I said figuring to forgo the whole end of the world, angle and demon route. After all, Mike was human, no point filling him in on Fallen, Order business.

"Why?" he raised an eyebrow. "Did you do something wrong, or is he just one of those jerks who likes to hurt women?"

"He thought I did something wrong, and won't believe the truth. Mike, he has friends looking for me and wanting to hurt me. I refuse to allow them to come here and cause you any issues. We have a friend who can protect us; better we disappear, at least until the baby is born."

Mike was swinging his leg back and forth against the desk. "How long have you known Levi for, seems like longer than just these past few weeks."

"Levi was from my hometown, we had a thing but it was brief, and ended badly. He searched for me in hopes of helping me. The relationship? Well, for the most part, we were faking it but now..." I shrugged, unsure myself.

"So you both think running away is the answer? We are trained fighters, here Lilly. Do you really think we'd let anyone hurt you?"

Mike was stressed and I hated that I was making him feel bad. A part of me wished I had never stayed here, but moving around could have gotten me caught quicker. As it was Viktor found me, and look how great that turned out. I had almost been killed. Mike didn't know anything about that, but maybe now was the time to tell him.

"Mike, do you remember Viktor, the Russian fighter who was working with Pa?" "Yes. Why?"
"Remember my bruises, Viktor disappearing...he was sent to kill me, Mike, if Levi hadn't been there to stop him who knows what might have happened. That is why I need to go. Hell, I should have left the moment I found out I was pregnant, but I didn't cause I love you guys. You have become like family to me Mike, I won't ever forget that." I stood up, kissing him on the cheek. "I hope you understand."
