Jade's POV

3 months past and me and Quan are having the times of our lives. I graduated from college and whatever Quan decides what basketball team he wants to go to I'm being brought in as a cheerleader. I'm very excited about that.

Lately I been throwing up for weeks and I don't know why. One of my friends at school has a parent thats a nurse and she checked me out and ruled out food poisoning.

She asked if I was pregnant and when was the last time I had sex. I told her 2 1/2 weeks ago and we used a condom. Today Imani is buying three pregnancy test. I don't have any patience to wait at the clinic all of a sudden..

"Hey boo." Imani kissed my cheek and closed the door behind her.

"Hey. Mani I'm scared as hell. I don't think I'm pregnant." I told her

We went into the bathroom downstairs and closed and she locked the door behind her.

"Shut yo ass up. Even if you are pregnant me Dominique and Quan will be here for you." She said handing me the boxes.

I took them out and peed on them. I wiped myself and sat them on the counter.

"It say we gotta wait bout 5 minutes. I'll call Quan and let him know." I told her getting off of the toilet to go find my phone.

I sat on the bed and Facetime called him. He answered on the 3rd ring.

"Hey baby." He smiled. I smiled and waved.

"Where you at babe?" I asked acknowledging his background.

"I'm at UGA tryna see if I got in with the Lakers. My coach said not to be worried so I know I'll get some good news." He excitedly explained.

"Quan thats good. I'm proud of you!" I told him. He laughed and blew a kiss.

"So what you doing all home alone?" He asked.

"Um.. don't worry-" Imani came outta the bathroom making signs and whispering at me to tell him about the pregnancy test. I nodded at her and looked back at the phone.

"Wassup Jade? Who there with you?" He asked worriedly. I sighed.

"You know how I been throwing up a lot lately?" He nodded.

"Imani bought pregnancy test and she thinks that I'm pregnant." I said in a low tone. Imani just looked at me.

"What are the-" Imani called my name.

"Jade times up. Come see the them." She said. I took the phone with me and Imani saw them and made a face.

"What?!" I asked very concerned.

"3-2-1-0" She turned the sticks over and I felt overwhelmed and upset.

"Jade what they say?" Quan kept yelling.

A tear escaped my eye and Imani came over to me to comfort me.

"Jade what the hell? Are you pregnant or-"
