DISCLAIMER: Just so y'all know this chapter is long but will get EXTREMELY sad at the end. BRING YOUR TISSUES!! And I'm being so serious it's that sad 😓
Also I started back school the past Monday so it may be some time for me to post since I have cheer practice Mon-Wed. I'm an 8th grader taking a 10th grade physical science class so it'll definitely take me some time.
Anyways, pleaseeeeeee enjoy!
The next day...
"I looked in the mirror in the downstairs bathroom and examined myself. I had on my Lakers uniform with the two big numbers on the back, 37. The name on the shirt read HENDERSON.
I got my duffel bag off of the toilet and sat it on the counter. I grabbed my deodorant, change of clothes, shoes, wallet, phone and charger and stuffed it in my bag. I looked at my phone and we were about to be late.
The lock screen opened and appeared the love of my life. It was the picture of us kissing the night I took her out when I got back. Boy them braids she had in made me wanna do some things to her. She was looking beautiful as ever even if I could only see half of her face.
I sighed thinking about our argument yesterday. It hurt me so bad to see her like that.
I grabbed my bag and walked out of the bathroom. I grabbed my keys and opened the garage.
"Jade, you ready?" I called out to her. I heard a slight "yes" and turned around. Boyyy I almost fainted looking at her.
She had on her Lakers cheer uniform and white cheer shoes. Her socks were white with my jersey number in the color of the Lakers. The top hugged her body and the skirt showed the curves on her hips. She had her long curly hair up in a high ponytail with a bow.
"You look beautiful." I told her trying to start a conversation.
She kept her head down. She had her duffel on her shoulder holding on to the bag.
"Yeah." She gave a blunt smile and walked past me into the garage. I licked my lips and went into the truck.
~
"Have fun tonight, Jade. I love you." I held my arms out.
"Sure you do." She walked past me and moved my arm out of the way. I sighed and walked off.
"Aye DaQuan!" I turned around and saw my coach. He looked like he was in a rush.
"Come on son, they already warming up in the gym!" He pushed me with him into the building.
I made it to the gym and the cheerleaders began cheering my name. I grinned and nodded over to them. I looked over once again and saw Jade brushing her Pom poms together with an aggravated look on her face. My grin slowly turned into a frown. I went over to the bench to get a Gatorade. As I was ready to sit down, the score board goes off, signaling the game is about to start.
"Shit!" I blurted to myself. I threw the gatorade on the bench. People looked at me.
"Hello? Take a picture, it'll last longer." I then lifted my middle finger.
I swear I'm starting to get anger problems.
The referees came and got me and a player from the other team to go start off the game.
