"Mr. Henderson? Ms. Weston is now out of surgery and yes you may come and see her." Jade's doctor told me and Imani. Domonique couldn't come cause she was stuck up in something, so she says.
We rushed out of our seats and made our way to the 6th floor of the hospital.
The doctor opened the door for us and I seen Jade laying in the hospital bed.
"Jade." I called her name. I walked to the other side of the bed and seen that she was sleep.
She had an IV in her arm with some fluid coming into it.
I sat in the chair and moved it closer.
"Baby. I um. I'm sorry." My voice cracked then a tear slipped loose.
"I'm sorry for everything Jade. I'm sorry for not believing you when you said you not pregnant, I'm sorry for not listening, I'm sorry for- girl I'm sorry baby girl. I'm so sorry. I was just mad that-"
I looked up and she was woke.
"Don't be mad Quan." She grabbed my hand.
"Why should I not, I made you mad. I didn't-"
"Shh." She put her finger to my lips.
She pulled the cover back from off of her. She grabbed my right hand and placed it on her stomach. I gasped.
"I said don't be mad about it because I am pregnant Quan." She said. A smile appeared on her face and one happened to take over mine.
I got out of my seat real quick.
"BABY ARE YOU FOR REAL??!" I yelled. She laughed and nodded placing her hand on her stomach.
"Wait but the pregnancy test you took at home, they were negative-"
"They were. I guess they were just cheap ones. But the doctors came in here after I got outta surgery that I'm two months pregnant."
"Well that doesn't matter because I'm gonna be the proudest daddy and you're gonna be the happiest mama." She giggled. I leaned down and kissed her lips. I touched her leg on top of the blanket. She had a long blue cast on her leg from her mid thigh all the way to her ankle. I steamed in fury.
"I'm telling you. When you heal, that bitch Jasmine going down. But how long you gotta wear this?"
"7 and a half weeks. They assigned me to a wheelchair and crutches to take home." She sighed.
"Ok boo."
...
I bought Jade home in her wheelchair and helped her up and she started using her crutches.
"Do you wanna go upstairs and lay down?" I asked.
"No I'm fine." I nodded. I watched her waddle over to the sofa and turn the tv on. I went to the kitchen and poured some chips in a bowl. I brought them over to her and she thanked me.
"Yay, Doritos are my fave." She giggled and I laughed.
"In going upstairs Jade. Tell if you need me and DO NOT get up with out me." I point my finger at her.
"Ok bruh, dang!" She Threw a red dorito in her mouth. I shrugged and ran upstairs. I sat in my desk chair and picked up my phone. I immediately seen a post from TheShadeRoom on Instagram. The posted the pictures of Jade on the gym floor with a broken leg.
A lightbulb went out.
I left Instagram and called me and Jade's lawyer.
"Hello, Mr. Henderson?" Gina Rodriguez, the lawyer spoke.
"Hey Ms. Gina. I need your help-"
I know, the whole problem with that Jasmine girl. I already started investigating cause I knew you were gonna call." I smiled.
"Thank you so much Ms. Gina. Please be sure to remind me to pay you three times as extra on your next two paychecks." I could tell she was smiling.
"Well thank you, sir!" She exclaimed.
"No problem. Now, If it's ok with you, I want you to come over so we can discuss all together and earlier at the hospital, Jade said she wants to see you."
"Ok. I'm feeding my daughter at the moment but I will be over there soon, sir I promise." She told me.
"I gotcha Ms. Gina. See you later." I said getting up.
"You too sir." She said then hung up.
I sighed in relief. I threw the phone on the bed and went in the bathroom. I pissed then flushed the toilet. I turned the water on and wet my hands, then I was interrupted.
"DaQuan!!" I heard a yell downstairs. Jade sounded like she was scared.

I know this chapter isn't very long but turns out that Jade is pregnant!! Comment what you think the gender of the baby will be, or BABIES?
I have another chapter coming tomorrow or the day after. But beware, I got some steam coming next chapter. Stay tuned 😏
