Louis bursts out laughing after hearing the whole Saturday fiasco. He's already got tears in his eyes and he keeps on hitting his thigh with his hand, laughing like hell.
I wait for him to calm down, smiling.
"S-So you mean to tell me, you two were mistaken as really having sssss?"
I laugh, "No, I think, it's after having sssss."
Louis claps while laughing, "Freaking priceless, Swift! I should have been there."
"Well, if you were there, you would have thought the same thing," I say. "I mean, we really looked like a mess."
He laughs again and takes some time to calm down. "Alright, b-back to serious," he says even though he looks like he's still holding himself back. "If Runner finds out about this, he'll laugh like hell."
My nose wrinkles, "Don't you think it would be weird for him? I mean, his girlfriend and his up and coming new best friend caught in a room, the boy still putting his pants on while the girl is on his bed, wearing his clothes with awful hair."
"Probably not," he says clasping his hands together. "Why'd you tell me? You must really trust me so much."
I shrug and smile, "I do, I trust you. Also mostly it's because you know, eidetic memory, I get to uh — well, you know, sort of imagine. And I can't actually go around with those awful thoughts getting in my head. Trina really really really entered vicious thoughts."
He laughs like hell once more. "I didn't know that happens to you. So what if I tell you to imagine Runner in a banana suit, would that be in your mind?"
"God!" I exclaim. "How freaking dare you?"
"Runner wearing a female nurse outfit!"
"Shut up! Shut up!" I yell covering my ears.
He continues laughing as he takes my hands from my ears. "Alright, I'll stop. At least I planted two awful images, I'm good. I've lived a good life."
"Do this again and I will never ever help you with your homework."
He raises both his hands, "Hey, hey, let's not get hasty. Come on, let's continue this." He's serious all of a sudden.
"Well, thank you."
It's already seven PM and the hallways are now lit by the fluorescent lights. Louis stayed, saying he doesn't want to leave me alone. He stands and leans against the wall while I still sit on the stairs.
"I'll be fine, Lou, it's what I've been doing all this time in the afternoon," I say with a smile.
"Really? And no one is actually with you?"
"W-Well, Harry stays in the same field in front of me at the bleachers so technically, I'm not really alone."
"No," he says and sits back beside me. "I'm staying, okay? It's the least I could do."
"If someone messes with me, you'll be the first one to know."
"Nah, I'm staying, I need to look out for my girlfriend," he says and puts an arm over me. He lays his head on my shoulder and I laugh. Apparently, I am both Lou's and Runner's girlfriend.
Saturday, Runner takes me out and I am secretly relieved that he didn't go for the usual dinner and movie thing. Gladly, he tried something new but his choice is really weird. And he took Fissler.
"Okay, what are we doing in an orphanage?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
He laughs as he shuts the door from his car. I lean against it and cross my arms as I wait for his answer.
