"Well, this is my room." Alicia stated, placing her black bagpack on the floor.
Isak stood still on the doorframe, examining every inch of her room.
"Nice." He expressed.
The boy placed his bagpack near the huge bed and let his back fall against the matress. He smiled at the drawings on the ceiling.
"They are yours?" He asked amazed.
"Yes. But it's my secret so no telling anyone." Alicia layed down next to him.
"My mouth is shut." Isak gestured.
"So, you and Even?" She dared to ask, "I've seen you two around. That's his name right?"
When the blonde looked at him she noticed a rosy blush on his cheeks, causing him to involuntary cover his face with his hands.
"Oh, c'mon. Spill it." She nudged his side, "Isak..."
"Fine." He gave in, "It's not official."
"Do you... like him?" Alicia questioned softly.
There was a long pause and she thought he wouldn't answer. She kept examining his facial expression that grew soft to the subject.
"I do." Isak answered thruthfully, and quickly changed the subject, "You? Got any hot boys on your radar?"
Alicia sighed, knowing the only boys she had considered as hot were idiots.
"No." She answered.
Her phone beeped between them. Isak that was now with his elbow supporting his weight got a good look at the notification that lit up.
"Hm, so you don't find Chris Schistad a bit hot?" He taunted.
Alicia covered her face with her hands hiding her rosy cheeks. Finally she looked at Isak, trying to keep a serious face.
"He's a total idiot." She chuckled.
"He's texting you. That means something." Isak pointed at the phone.
"He wants to get me under him." Alicia shrugged.
"Not happening?"
"See this?" She raised her hand, pointing at the bright ring, "Purity ring."
"No sex then?" Isak raised his eyebrow with a smile.
"It's more than that." Alicia looked to her hands, "I made this vow when my heart was broken very badly, thought I wouldn't make it but I did thanks to faith. Then I locked my heart away. This vow is about finding someone willing to crack the locker."
"That's really sweet, Alicia." He smiled softly, "It takes courage and devotion."
"Ad now I'm afraid." It took Isak by surprise, "Afraid that no one will lose time to search for the key."
Her green eyes were still on her hands, fixing her ring. Isak placed his hand over hers, making Alicia look up to him, locking their eyes.
"I don't really know what love is, and I don't think anybody knows." He chuckled softly, "But I'm pretty sure once you find it, you just know."
"But what if there's no love for me out there?" Alicia asked, like a little girl.
"There is. There is someone out there for all of us," Isak told her, certain, "sometimes they just get stuck somewhere."
The blonde layed down on the matress, staring at the ceiling with green eyes full with the hope Isak's statement had just given her. Maybe she wasn't alone after all.
