SATURDAY 1:03PM

Alicia didn't remember much from last night. Just Thomas' smiling down at her as they danced, everything after that was a blur. But the fact than she couldn't open her eyes told her it was a crazy night. Too crazy.

"How do you feel?"

Alicia's green eyes shot wide open. She sat up, that voice was definitely not her moms'. She looked around until her eyes fell on the boy lying next to her.

It was Chris Schistad with a smirk on his face and shirtless. Immediately, Alicia checked her body and sighed with relieve when she found all her clothes on her.

"It wasn't that kind of night, love." He told her, "But how do you feel?"

"Dead." She confessed.

"Yap, that's what hangover is supposed to feel like." Chris nodded.

"I'm sorry," Alicia covered her face.

"For...?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Everything? For what I don't remember I did but I'm sure I did."

"That sounds weird." Schistad chuckled, "But it's fine. Seriously."

"Now," Alicia turned so she could face him better, "what was it that I did?"

"You just threw up a little, muttered a little." He shrugged, "And slept a lot."

The brunette found herself laughing. She fell back down on the matress next to Chris, just when she finished laughing she turned on her side so she could face him.

"Where is Mariann?"

"Home, probably." Chris answered.

"I'm occupying her spot on the bed." Alicia felt weird saying it out loud.

The Penetrator sighed , tormented by his thoughts. After all, she was occupying more than just Mariann's spot on his bed. She was everywhere.

"Don't worry. She's cool."

"You have an open relationship?" Alicia's eyebrows frowned.

Chris laughed, "No. But she's cool with you here. She actually likes you."

"Hm, she sounds nice." The brunette bit her lip, "She looked nice too."

"Yes, she is." He muttered, then he coughed, "So what about Thomas?"

"He's nice too." She shrugged.

Chris looked away from her green and tempting eyes. She looked happy with the guy at the party, they seemed an happy couple. It seemed that kind of love for a minute or two. Why would he ruin it by saying Thomas had left her helpless in the middle of a party completely wasted? But then again, she was worth so much more than that.

"He left you totally drunk in the middle of wasted strangers."

"What?" Alicia frowed, "He..."

"What is it about him?" Chris asked her, "Because it doesn't look like he's treating you right."

If what Schistad was saying was true, that was a good question, and she found herself at a loss for words fit to answer. But she had to say something.

"He's – He's perfect."

"I get it. That kind of perfect." He pressed his lips together, just then continuing, "That kind of perfect fit to take that ring of yours off your finger, am I right?"
